That's just like when I watched The Pillow Book. Ewen McGreggor had a long homosexual love making sequence with an old man. Scary stuff.

What's wrong with you? You have just given me the worst image in the history of forever. Thank you very much. Now excuse me while I erase that from my brain relentlessly.

Buddy, that right there is a little more than acting... i know i wouldnt get THAT into it if i was acting and had to do that... hell i wouldnt even do it... its just to gross unless your already fruity like Keanu probly is. A lot of people are gay... its no big deal... and Keanu is probly one of them although i cant stand looking at that pic.

Agree, does this thread have anything to do with the matrix?

Okay.
What's the problem if he is gay?
I actually know a few people in this scene. Brad Fraser used to the be the gay theater guy in Toronto, when Fraser was the director of Buddies in Bad Times Theater. The pictures shown are from the play "Wolfboy", that Fraser had written, and likely directed. I don't think there's a single play out there written by Fraser that didn't have a gay protagonist. It was his "thing". It still is. The pictures are just promo shots for the play, with 2 beautiful boys. Which would also describe virtually every promotional pic for every Fraser play ever made. I think it was originally supposed to be provocative, though it soon became just predictable.
As such, the pictures themselves indicate nothing. Keanu is an actor, and has been one for quite some time. He is also an uncannily beautiful man. I suspect this puts some men at ill-ease, making them uncomfortable with their own sexuality, as they repress some small attraction to Keanu, despite their "raging" heterosexuality.
All that said, it's not outside the realm of possibility that Keanu is gay, or was gay, or some sort of bisexual. Fraser attracted certain types of actors, usually actors willing to take chances (playing gay), but often actors who were on the fringes of sexuality. It could be that Keanu, questioning his own sexuality (as beautiful people often do), was merely experimenting (as youths often do).
Or he could be bona fide gay.
Either way, it doesn't really matter. I live in Toronto, I've meandered through the theater scene, and as a queer woman, I know an awful lot of gay people. But I've never heard anything about Keanu being gay.

"The One" is Neo, not Keanu Reeves. a good actor, like for example, Will Smith, or Matt Damon will play a gay carachter one or twice in their career. its pretty normal, and it proves the range of the actor/actress.

I don't know if I agree with you, about it being the sole property of "good actors".
I went to university on an acting scholarship, and found that only the "pretty" girls got to second year acting (they would cull 16 of us for second year, from the original 150, that were culled from the original 2,000 entrant applications), and only the boys who played gay. It sucked, because the boys pretty much had it easy. All they had to do was kiss a guy, and the auditors would call the performance "tormented", "inspired", instead of just awkward and hackneyed; whereas for girls, kissing a girl was just par for the course. We had to look pretty, or have big tits.
It's hard not to be bitter when you're small breasted and "mousy".

Are you saying that if an actor doesn't play a gay role in his career that he doesn't have range?

Slipknot and I are having a debate. In this picture is Keanu the man on the right or the left? I say left, Slipknot says right.

no, just that an actor who can play a masculine action star, or a effeminate gay man, has good range, and that proves it.

the pic isn't fake.
the production is before my time, but The Theatre Passe Muraille still has the production listed, 1982, Wolfboy, by Brad Fraser, starring Keanu Reeves, directed by John Palmer.
And this is old news.

I love how this is in the Matrix forum, yet has nothing to do with the Matrix except a guy that doesn't like the films, so he's showing pics from a different movie....
