The Coming Soon CHAIN LETTER!

Here It Is. I had this idea that we could send each other a letter and add a few lines to say hello. I can send it to the first person and they can send it to the next, and so on send it on, just for fun like.

I'm intrigued how far accross the world it will get and what countries this letter will visit before it is lost which is why I think it will be fun.

It'll be nice to give each other a personal message to say hello and we can track it as it goes so we know who's got it. Every once in a while one of us can scan it so we can read what has been written or we can just send it back to each other once in a while.

::Important Points::
If you need a persons address you can get it through pm's but If that person wishes for you not to send it to them you must respect their wishes and not pester them. Also we must promise each other that all addresses are private and confidential and may NOT be distributed to anyone other than the recipient of the letter unless they say other wise. Please respect this rule.

This letter will be one piece of A4 paper. Everyone can write anything they want but there should be a maximum limit of 10 lines per person or else it will just get too full. At the end of each page the last recipient should begin on a fresh A4 page, and so on.

When sending the letter make sure you place in one of the corners the words 'Comingsoon.net' so you don't throw it out. I've a couple of things to clear first but I should get it underway soon.

I will start a list of the people who have recieved it so the recipient or sender must tell me who has it and also a map so we can see the letters location.

Just one small request from me. The recipient of each letter needs to tell me that they have recieved the letter and their general location for tracking perposes.

In Simple English, It will be One letter that I will send to a CSer of my choice, that CSer then has the oportunity to write 10 lines about them selves on the paper in the envelope. Then That person sends on the same letter to a CSer of their choice and the recipeint does the same, and so on until the end of time!

Thats my main concern. I am seeking agreement from the powers that be, because I want it done properly and I don't want to put anyone in a predicament or show any disrespect to individual or company alike.

I don't want anyone to send me thier addresses! I am a trust worthy person but there is no need for me to know peoples personal details. That is up to the individual cser and the next recipient to agree.

I hope 'www.comingsoon.net' agree to the idea I proposed.

Ive had mail reach me in the U.K quicker from Australia (3-4 days)than some european countries. Some european postal services are shocking.

Umm, I kinda got a rude surprise on Friday. The letter came back to me all muddied and mutilated. Luckily, I'd put a bunch of new empty pages in it and they were the only things destroyed.

Long story short, damaged paper removed and put in a new envelope, the letter was fired back in the mail on Friday.......heading to Sabin.

I dunno. It's happened to me once before.

I guess the mail carrier accidentally drops it somewhere and it gets kicked into a crack, than someone's dog chews on it.

The return adress wasn't pooched, so it showed up in a weird little envelope apologizing for the destruction of the letter.

I mailed it a couple of weeks ago, but it got mangled and returned to me.

I re-sent it last Friday and it's heading to Sabin.

Smokie's idea from the beginning was that after every few stops, someone scans the letter and whatever people have been adding.

That way there's an electronic copy in case the real one goes missing. And also, whoever scans it, could then post a copy of the letter and stuff here.

It hasn't been done yet, so if you have the capability, it would be great if you could be the first.
