I dunno if this has been brought up before,so I'm gonna ask anyway. Why are all the good guys' lightsabers green and blue,and all the bad guys' are red?

Thats just the way GL wanted it. Red is very symbolic of evil, blue and green are earth tones, giving a feeling of good, life and birth.

As far as Maces puprle saber, he basically begged GL for one.

I think an orange lightsabre would be badass. Oooh! How about a blacklight colored one that looks like an eclipse?

Isn't it funny though, that the rebels have red lasers on their spacecrafts and the Empire have green.

so why don't the badasses get blue and green ones, and then some good uniforms and then they may be mistaken

I wish it was like the EU...have red, blue, green, orange, yellow, and purple! In fact, I think both Leia and her daugter Jaina both have red sabers!

I always fancied and orange saber myself...

actually in the game jedi power battles Plo koon wielded an orange lightsaber, wich It was changed for AOC for a blue one I think:)
