STAR WARS Episode III [Spoilers]

This is a thread for what seems to be the most important sequel of all time.

I have to thank LOTR though - without JJRs great work Star Wars wouldn't exist anyway, but also that he wrote a good battle, which made it good on-screen.

The battles in Number 3 will be intense, so i'm happy there. LOTR now has another use.

But this is a thread for this part of the forum, so don't go swapping it to the Star Wars thread.

The beggining also leaked out - it's on the net. I saw it on Aint It Cool.

It seems that the final Clone War Battle is on Coruscant - highly dangerous! It's going to be cool... :cool:

But seeing how it's a 12A, what do you think will happen in the story, other than Darth Vader's becoming and what we already know?

Also, who's on Hyperspace here? If you are, rate it out of 10.

I rate it 10/10, as it's like the LOTR APPENDIX DVDs, but has alot more stuff in it. At least we know that if there's a Hyperspace DVD, it'll be high-rated.

I think they're going to make him Captain of a ship that's added to the re-do of Episode 6. It'll be a funny scene - the freighter get's blown up, so Jar Jar puts it on auto-pilot, and then runs away from the bridge.

I think George Lucas has done one of the worst things in movie history something that has totally killed a classic trilogy, that is making these stupid, stupid prelude trilogy I have no hope for Episode 3. 1 and 2 sucked they just dont have that good old magic feeling like the old trilogy did. And episode two had such pathetic dialoge and the acting was horrible.

Palpatine Sidious whatever...he's gonna fight????? tht's gonna be so damn cool....I can't wait to see him in action....
and about there being no hope for ep.3...I don't buy that. Episode 3 will hopefully be the best SW Episode ever. (at least that's what I hope for!). Episodes 1+2 didn't kill of SW they enriched it. Finally we got some background on my fav character Darth Vader. I like him even more now after seeing Eps 1+2.....can't wait for Episode 3 to be released. I'll sure as hell will watch it a coupple of times at the movies!!!!

Pablo says that it's great, and the SFX people are saying it'll be amazing.

Looks like there's going to be a huge battle (not Clone War battle) involving Wookies vs. Clones.

The 3rd film, which will be the longest (hoping for 3 hours), is full of action, evil and amazing scenes. It would be so cool if there was an Wookie battle against the clones in some sort of canyon area, on Kasheek.

We get to see the King of the Wookies in this movie...

There's a new baddy aswell:

He's not a Jedi, but he's not a Sith. However he has TWO lightsabers, and has a swarm of goons who are ordered to kill the Jedi.

His name is Durg, and he's in the Clone Wars Cartoons. Durg is alos a Bounty Hunter, so that how he can fight with sabres.

I think we'll see Padmé using her skills with a lightsabre. There could be a scene where she joins a class of young Jedi, and she learns to fight with a saber from Yoda.

Then she can use these skills against all the non-jedi baddys.

Then we can have a major fight sequence between her and Vader (and this could also be why the line "You are strong in the force" was cut out of Ep 2 - so people don't realise this too early)

I used to be a pretty huge Star Wars fan, but I don't think I'm even going to see this next one in the theaters. I was severely disappointed by Episode I and I literally spent two hours in the theater during Episode II *cringing.* (What the %&#@? was a 50s diner doing in there?!). I was ranting to my boyfriend for hours afterwards. I'd never been so *mad* at a movie before.

So, whatever happens in Episode III, I don't care. Anakin turns into Vader, Obi-Wan becomes a hermit, and Sidious wins. That's all that's important and we already know how it ends.

And I'm never forgiving George Lucas for screwing with the ending of "Jedi."

Well you'll find Lucas didn't make Jedi. He wrote the script...

If you're on about the SE's, i'd start to panic. The UE's will have extended ending covering:

Kamino
Geonosis
Kasheek
Cloud City
Endor
Tatooine
AND ALL THE OTHER NEW PLANETS IN THE NEW ONE

I think the ending was alright - but that was when i realised what the big city was. I thought it was odd having a city, not actually in it.

I'm looking forward to LOTR3 - the only problem is the ending. The rap-up of the characters will be prob. 30 minutes...

the love scenes had some pretty bad dialouge. Anakin's little "Are you an angel?" speech in ep 1 was horrid dialouge, anything young anakin said was bad dialouge...come to think of it, anything Anakin says period is bad dialouge.

Story, you're right, the story is good, the story execution is bad. Using characters like Jar Jar as ways to move a plot forward, making Anakin a little boy who "Whoops"es his way through everything, making adult Anakin come off as someone who belongs on Dawson's Creek more than someone who will kill all Jedi, rolling around in a bed of flowers to display love...all of these are horrid story telling elements. Lucas can put together a competent story, but he cannot make the story into a movie. And he is too stubborn to admit this and hire another writer. A REAL writer.

I personally don't think prequels were needed. Anakin's story was one better untold.

I hate to admit this but when Episode One came out (I was like 12) I fell in love with Jar Jar. Now that he screws up the galaxy for the worse i really don't like him. I still think he was kind of humerous. The best thing however is watching the EPI dvd and watching him speak in spanish. God Damned Hillarious!

A large crowd is gathered. DARTH VADER appears.

A large blaster door begins to open and the fight leaves the room.
