I decided on starting this thread a while ago, but i was forced to create it now as I have just found out that Lawyer Milloy, a New England fan favorite and one of the ebst strong safties in the game, was cut form the Pats in a salary cap move.This is the first time in about 3 years that either the Red Sox or the Pats have had to make a killer salary cap move, and well I am dissaspiointed, I realize whyn they did this.However, they are saving just 1 million+ season by cutting, and saving 4 million plus next season if I am correct.They definately should've kept him til the end of this season seeing as how competitive this division is.I guess it helps out the salary a bit better than us fans realize, or the Pat's front office wouldn't have done this.

Damn... Milloy is a top 5 safety in the NFL.... he'll get picked up pretty fast never to be seen in a New England jersey again.
