Who's interested in this? I am, a little. At least the finals. I have tickets to all the games in CA, good seats too. I don't think I will be able to go though, so if anyone is interested, I have two tickets, midfield line.
Will the US win it again? Repeat as champs? I think they will. They are just too good. Their goalie hasn't lost a match for years. :applaud:

U.S will probably win. I couldnt care less.

Same here, I couldn't work out why there was a world cup thread so long after the event

The English Women's team is very good, they've won a few tournements and alot of them play league football in America because for some reason it's more widley embrased by Americans than the English.
It's interesting how the US embraces women's soccer, but not men's. It is a hugely popular sport with youth and younger adults here though.
I think part of the problem is that watching the game is not that fun for most sports fans. Part of this probably stems from a lack of understanding of the game. But, at the same time, you must admit that watching a soccer match is not much fun. I'd MUCH rather play than watch.

I heard womens soccer has just gone down the pan in america - has it not lost all its funding?
