Scene After the Credits: (7/29/03) Most people hurry out of theaters as soon as the credits start to come up, but in this case, if you stay until the end, you'll get to see a scene which shows what happens next for one of the characters not included in the main ending of the movie

i quote it from http://movies.yahoo.com/shopd=hp&cf=prev&id=1808405416

did anyone see that secene, what is it about? I have seen the movie three times, but i don't know the presence of the scene until yesterday. Can anyone tell me what is that scene about?

Yeah that's it. I guess they were setting it up for POTC 2???? haha just kidding, they'll think of something better than that for the sequel.

I don't think it had much or a purpose. The extras during the credits don't usually have a great meaning to the movie. It was just like the extras during the credits of Daredevil When you see Bullseye in a body cast kill a fly with a cyringe needle with cops gaurding his doors. The extra stuff after the credits is usually just a bonus thing for the people that stay during all of the credits.
