this movie was pretty lame like the first one, but i sort of liked it better than part 1. its got some pretty creepy moments like the part where the thing just looks in the window at them and smiles but its pretty much the same stupid stuff from the first one. if you like cheesy horror movies that you laugh at more than you scream at go see this, if you like horror movies that actually scare you save your money.

But it looks like it has a better story line than the first though. The bus broke down in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of kids, it would take a longer time for help to arrive so they are all helpless, and there aren't too many places to hide, so you think more of how they will escape.

Though I'm not sure if Jeepers Creepers is really franchise material

Well, if they did it as a franchise they would have to do it in the future because this was day 23 and they will have to wait 23 more springs to do another one. Unless they did a prequel. Which will probably happen. But the making the 2nd movie on day 23 was kind of stupid if they planned on making more.

Was kinda funny when the Creeper was nailing those kids in the head with ninja stars. I was wondering what happened to the Creepers truck. Then the ninja star thing pretty much explained that plothole. The Creeper is less detectable using primitive hunting methods than he is driving a truck and chasing down his victims. The throwing stars make more sense. They basically disable his victims vehicles leaving them at his mercy. That Minxie chick was one hot mama.

I liked it. Cool that it happened 4 days after the original, and the ending set it up for the 23rd year cycle to restart. Old dude falls asleep. Gets taken and HIS son must carry on the legacy.
But, they gotta come up with some history on what this creature is, where its from etc. Is it otherworldly? Demonic origins? And where is the second lair?

Anyways, it had enough moments for me. I am not one to expect every movie I see to do it all for me. lol Sometimes just a little goes a long way. ;0)

I couldn't figure out why at the beginning when everyone got off the bus to take a pee, they all stood together. When I go camping with friends and we pee in the woods, we get as far apart as we can from each other.

As for the movie, I thought the director is more suited for drama than for horror. The suspensful scenes drug out way past the point of being suspensful and I found myself thinking "get on with it already"

I heard that they're thinking of doing a prequel......it's going to be set in "western" times......guess it might explain the hat and coat the Creeper wears.

I went to see it yesterday. It was a good way to spend an afternoon, but nothing I would go all out for. It was sorta funny in some parts...that's what kept me into it.

Who wants to bet next month, some kid from down the street will knock on your door with a damned Creeper hat on!

BTW...what was up with those noises The Creeper was making when he was sniffing or something. It sounded like a pissed off snake or something.

It wasn't a female body part, it was how he could smell the fear on the humans and how he could tell what he wanted to eat. People that usually have there mind in the gutters may think it was a female body part.
