We'll see... After seeing Orgeon in action, I'm going to keep an open mind... But I still have faith that the Cougs can pull one out (damnit, can't say that without thinking of Notre Dame...). I just don't know why we can't perform under pressure...

Alabama- we're opening conference play. Bama's coming off a loss to Northern Illionois so they have motivation BUT they aren't eligble for the SEC title due to probation. We have the motivation because all of our seniors said after getting our ass whupped in the final two games last season- they really want to make a name for Arkansas this year and so far they've done it.

We're ranked ninth in the nation, ranked in the coaches poll, we've had concurrent offensive/defensive SEC players of the week, we've been the Football Writer's Association National Team of the Week and our QB Matt Jones has been the National Player of the week.

BUT

No matter what happens, I'm a Hog fan till I die- I just want to see them succeed and shut the Hog bashers up!

Wow. I was at SAFECO Field all afternoon, and they kept showing the WSU- UO score, and it kept getting worse and worse for Oregon... Wish I could have watched it... Missed USC get knocked off by CAL!!! This was #5 USC against unranked, lowly PAC 10 team CAL!!! Wow, what a great day, this means WSU and the Huskies should go to the top of the PAC 10 and move into #10 and 11 spots nationally... Can't wait for this years Apple Cup... It may decide who goes to the Rose Bowl... And this year, Kegel is NOT sucking it up... He'll be ready...

Arkansas is pretty banged up right now. We've built our offense around the run and our top three backs are out right now. We've lost three in a row and dropped completely out of the rankings and we were #7 at one point. It's alright though..just gotta keep trying. If it's one thing I know about my boys it's that they won't go out without a fight.

****! ****! ****! I really wish our guys would stay out of trouble. Coach Nutt has suspended Sam Olajubutu, indefinitely, for a rules violation. Damn, he's one of my favorite players. According to espn.com, Sam was found asleep in a car, intoxicated and since the keys were in the ignition, even though he wasn't driving, he was charged under the DWI law. *sigh* Stupid mistakes, damnit. We'll need him in our remaining games and he goes and does this..sometimes I wonder if those boys have brains. :mad:
