its actually kind of a whip/sword. if you remove that huge/ass sharp sword part (there's a little button that i didn't draw on the sword that un-attaches it) it'll turn into a whip. ceci-chan wanted me to make her one kind of like this but this was the best i could think of..

Basically its from this Ai Yazawa manga called Nana, huge shoujo hit and here's my little drawing to the ongoing struggle (in the later comics) between Komatsu Nana and chosing who she wants to be with, Takumi or Nobu? (yeah they're reflections are supposed to be in her eyes but..yeah I kinda messed up on it, deal with it).

I have issues with putting on the mask for certain people. Btw, the hair kind of lop-sided with curls sticking out, the first set of hair is a wig, the real set is underneath. I just felt like drawing this, I was inspired to today, tada.

Usually engagements are ones to celebrate over. It leads to the inevitable marriage, two people spending the rest of their lives together. This is my viewpoint of how tained and how much of a mockery I think lots of people have made things like this to turn out to be. The fact that her hand is melting off is showing how fast and easily things like this can crumble. No relationship is ever too safe from the endless amounts of pain love and marriage can bring.

I went in photoshop and adjusted the levels so the hand would show up more in the final draft. Then I went and basically used the smudge tool and ran it down certain parts of the hand, put more pressure on the pieces I wanted to make longer of drips and such.
