Bonus Disks

Nintendo annouced today that just as Zelda Wind Waker did, when you buy Mario Kart Double Dash!!, you get a bonus disk which should have stuff like demos and the N64 game.

These bonus disks are very popular in the UK if you didn't know. Even if the US don't have a bonus disk, maybe Nintendo of Europe will make their own disks.

So we could possibly get one for F-zero, Star Fox 2, Pokémon Colisium, Crystal Cronicles, etc. That would be maga-awesome if all the first and second party games had bouns-disk, so it's always 2-for-1.

I've seen a couple of these bonus disks but I don't have a GC myself, but if MK64 was included with DD I would get it

At this time, there are no plans, officially announced to release Mario Kart: Double Dash with a Mario Kart 64 bonus disc.

You may be happy to hear that, starting in early October, players that reserve their copy of Mario Kart: Double Dash will receive a special demo disc, filled with game play demos and movies of upcoming Nintendo GameCube titles. This demo disc will be packed in with the first copies of Mario Kart: Double Dash, specifically for those consumers who pre-order. Please note that both the Mario Kart: Double Dash game disc and the special demo disc will come in the same game case.

To increase your chance of receiving the bonus disc, be sure to place your order as soon as possible. Standard retail versions of the game will not include the demo.

I would rather see the SNES version but a bonus disk is a bonus disk. Rogue Squandron 3 will also have one.

Ok - it's annouced by Nintendo that the bonus disk will NOT have Mario Kart 64 on it. It will be a demo-disk, with future first and second party games on it.
