Ok, got the Two Towers DVD yesterday, and sat through it all day.

One thing caught my eye. During the siege at Helms Deep, at the moment where the orcs were marching up the ramp towards the gate, the scene shifts to the men at the battlements throwing rocks down at them. One man in particular seemed familiar to me, yet I could not decide who it was. It could be either Peter Jackson himself or John-Ryes Davies without the dwarf outfit. The man was wearing chainmail, and his face was twisted in a battlecry, so it was a bit difficult to tell.

Does any of you know if it is any of those two making a special appearance?

(btw, I am describing this out of memory, so I may be wrong on a few issues).

PJ does does have a cameo throwing a spear down from the ramparts above the gate. It's at 2:14:14 on the DVD.

lol... i saw no Peter Jackson or John-Ryes Davies with out his Dwarve makeup on... i didnt notice this at all... ill try and look again.

hhaaa.i noticed them when i first watched the movie~!!

anyway...there are 4 cameos really..in this film...in which PJ appeared twice...

for peter jackson...when the uruk hai marchs up with the shields towards hornburg and stuff...there was a guy who popped out from behind one of the wooden planks and throws a spear at them...thats PJ...

he appears next when the uruk hai breaks thru the door...he's on the left side of the screen...he shot an arrow...

alan lee and another guy...i forgot his named..appeared when legolas and aragorn argued in the armoury...they stood behind them watching the arguement...look out for them yea

I don't recall the second cameo of PJ. What time does it occur?

im not sure...but only for a brief second...not very clear as well...you know when the uruk hai breaks the door and theoden was there?yea...left hand side...look closly...fat guy with a big beard

This is great...I just got my copy and for sure am going to have to play close attention to those cameos...are there any other fun things that anyone has come across yet??? Anything hidden....any Easter Eggs..come on...someone has to have found something....

I've only noticed the one when he's throwing the spear, and i didn't even know about the fellowship one until i watched the commentary

apparently, PJ is also in the charge of the wild men, as they leave after saruman's pep talk, but both times i was at the cinema, i didn't see him. anyone out there see him in the DVD? i will go and have a loo soon
