I just read on CountingDown.com that there is a new installment of Batman coming out in 2005, with Christopher Nolan directing.

i wouldn't count on it because the wb has had a lot of super hero movies in development for a long time, but they keep getting delayed, like superman, for example. i don't know what is taking them so long because super hero movies are popular right now, and if they wait to long they won't be as popular. especially since a few of their recent movies haven't made much money lately.
