Yeah this is about the age most retire nowadays. Plus he can still do what Becker and Navratilova did and play tournaments here and there

At least he won US OPEN last year and it was his last tournament, I think.

He has won pretty much every major, what else does he have to do?

Unfortunately he was'nt really embraced by the fans like Agassi was...

It's a shame he's leaving the sport, but when you're that hurt, it's time to move on. He was always my favorite between him and Andre.

14 Slams even without French Open but he dorminated Wimbledon. Was it Becker who said that a player like Pete only come around once? Well, who ever it was, he was totally right.

yeah in his prime he was almost impossible to beat, but now when there are guys who are faster, stronger, younger and have almost the same velocty as him in serves, its kinda hard to win all the time. he is definitely one of the greatest players to ever play the game. i always liked him. one of my faves. best serve and volley game ever. enjoy life after tennis pete.
