When I first heard of this film, I had no idea that Woody Allen had anything to w/ it...I'm usually not a huge fan of a lot of romantic comedies, but I'll probably give this one a shot...mainly bc I really like Woody Allen
AND
Jimmy Fallon rawks! Is this his first project on the big screen?

Jimmy Fallon and Woody Allen? The annoyance factor is already off the charts.

Why Doofy...is that annoying...
I of course in my free time like romantic comedies....and I like Woody Allen movies (and LOTR) wierd I know..I am a mixed bag I guess...
anyways, yes I think it looks fun. I particularly was noticing the actors that are in the movie (allen, fallon, glenn close, danny divito) were not in the trailer...wonder what they are gonna be like...

Looks like this trailer was marketed towards young people....
"Look! Young, good looking people!"
I'm just afraid that this is going to have a negative effect on BO, once word gets around what type of movie it is (a Woody Allen movie).
I'm going to see it for sure!

For one, it's a romantic comedy without the proper people in it.
I mean Jimmy Fallon is NOT funny, and Woody Allen, well I prefer not to finance rapists.

Steering back on topic...
Christina Ricci looks good in this but I am skeptic on the pairing of her w/ Jason Biggs? I dont see the Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan magic all I see is Affleck/Lopez vibes.

From the trailer, it looks like Jason Biggs and Christina Ricci could be good in the movie...I know Jason from other movies, and his comedic timing is perfrect! But, I've seen Christina and watched her other films. Most of them are dramatic roles, but from what I've seen this looks like it could be funny. This role for her is different from what I've seen her doing...and it looks like this movie could challenge both of them with showing more of their comedic talents.

You see, I think the reason why I'm so intrigued by this movie is because it looks so not typical....there's something about it that I think is going to make it just a little different.
As far as Woody Allen is concerned, say what you want about him. I think he's funny... but I can sort of understand the love hate relationship that many have for him....although, it's nothing but love for me.
I guess we'll see how it does when it opens...I haven't seen any of the TV spots for it yet though...

I love Jimmy Fallon! He is so funny!
Woody Allen can be funny, but Jimmy Fallon?
Not really that funny...

Jimmy Fallon cracks me up...I love that song...I'm an idiot, but I'm your boyfriend....I find it quite amusing...dumb, but amusing. I am excited to see how he will do in Anything Else actually and to see what he will bring to it. Should be interesting.

Agreed, some really good ones of Ricci here too....I like the one of her and Fallon.
Makes me excited to see this, might check it out w/ my mom this coming weekend, she's been wanting to see it since she saw the trailer w/ god only knows what movie.

Trailer is hilarious. I think having Biggs, Ricci and Fallon in a Woody Allen flick is genius. Younger funny actors bringing their own spin to a classic comedic talent. I think this is going to be a comeback for Allen.

for some reason, I've always hated Woody Allen. I think its because when he was a director, he would always have all the hot chicks go after him (who was freakin ugly). Like that's ever gonna happen!

Women will do anything to further their career and for money.
If you don't know that by now, you better wise up to it so you don't become some no good dames opportunity in the future.

Speaking more so of Ricci...a friend of mine was able to go to some kinda sneak peak last night and this guy loves movies and he all he could talk about was how amazing Ricci was in this movie...so that has been kinda excited.

I think Biggs is actually going to do a great job in this one. It'll give him a chance to show us he's got more in him than just the American Pie boy... think he'll be pretty funny.

well at least he has that nervous allen character down to a pat from his hillarious roles in American Pie...think that should translate pretty well..

Just saw Biggs on Conan Obrien on Tuesday. Then saw Ricci on Conan Obrien last night. That was interesting.
The movie could be good. Ive kinda lost most my hope for Woody Allen though. His name on his movies don't mean jack anymore. He lost his humor somewhere up into the 90's.
But you never know. If I can help it i'll wait till it comes out on DVD though.
P.S.
I didn't like Chuck the Movie Guy before, but now I just think he's one of the worst interviewers and reviewers out there. ComingSoon is a great place too, which is a shame.

Personally, I am a bit tired of Woody Allen's shtick. All of his movies in recent years have been exactly the same and running the same old joke into the ground. I would rather watch Annie Hall for the 500th time than sit through his newer movies.

Hmmm, I think this one actually looks pretty good. I've enjoyed the trailers, nice cast and it has some great word of mouth surrounding it. I'm not sure if I'll see it in the theaters, but being the Allen fan I am, I'll definitely check it out sooner or later.

ok for those who wants to see ths
DONT
i was able to see this today and it sucked beyond belief:(
i left the movie when there was 15 minutes left:(
the positive thing was that jimmy fallon was only in 1 scene (unless he showed up at the end)
and most of the movie wasnt even about christina ans jasons characters relationship
most of it was about woody allens crazy character
most of the jokes (that werent that funny anyway) were in the trailer
it would have been better if ..............well i dont know if it could be any better
maybe if the but more of riccis character in it and less of woody's and stockard channings characters in it could have been a bit better
so wait for dvd...........actually dont do that go to your friends house that has HBO or whatever (so you dont have to pay for the cable bill:p) and watch it there (but only if you really want to)
