Classic Rock is my favorite genre of music. It is the only station I ever have playing in my car. New music for the most part blows big fat ****. Some of my favorite bands are The Beatles, The Doors, Pink Floyd, etc. Rock on.

I love Classic rock, only like that and stuf from the 80's/90's.Kinda making a come back in these people writing their own songs(Michelle Branch)and just sounding good(Jason Maraz{Sp?}).
And I'm annoyed by punk, which has recently replaced pop as the crap that everybody loves to hate,IMO.

Some good bands listed (no, I'll rephrase -) GREAT BANDS!
I'll also add to that :--

Status Quo - one of the best UK rock boogie bands ever
Def Leppard - a great band who balance hard rock and soft
ballads better than anyone.

I have everything the Clash ever released as well as volumes of live shows, but what I was in shock was someone who had the idea to even mention them would think that the Clash did (or covered) "Tainted Love."
