In your Opinion what do you think is the better show? I have always Liked CSI it has a great cast and some good storylines. I really don't like CSI Miami Though for a few reasons some of the cast choices they made on their does not get my approvle but it is an ok show!

The cast for CSI: Miami is pretty lame. They don't have any of the complexity of the regular CSI cast. They kind of stand around waiting for David C. to ham it up. And that blonde is a lousy actress.

CSI is better than CSI Miami, but neither show is THAT good anyways.

I prefer CSI to CSI Miami, but if The Shield was up there, then there would be no competition

Watch C.S.I. religously....have never seen the Miami one...if they get rid of Caruso, I might.

I am a huge fan of the original show, so much so that I got into CSI half way through the second season and have gone back and seen every episode ever made. Yes I know I need help.

Before you pass judgement on the complexity of CSI:Miami go back and watch the first 15 to 20 episodes of CSI Season one. The first several episodes are flakey and nothing compared to current episodes. The current cast completity is a result three seasons of maturing.
Examples:
1 The whole Conrad Eckley subplot and issues between him and Grissom. I am glad this subplot was removed.
2 Issues between Warrick Brown and either Sara Sidle or Capt. Jim Brass. Sub-plots not suportive of the story line.
3 Issues between Warrick Brown being blackmailed by Judge Cohen. Subplot hard to follow

Bottom line CSI today is much better than season one, hell they didn't even have the cool special effects used today. I predict that CSI: Miami will come into its own over the next season. So far the only beef I have with Miami is Kim Delaney's character appearing every so often and the weird sexual tension with Horatio Caine and his brother's hot widow, they either need to shag or realize that hooking up with one's ex-sister in law is not a good idea. Otherwise the characters are starting to mature with time. But Miami is a hotbed of plot ideas so I guess we will see.
