I think this could be really cool if they make it disturbing and creepy, but they have to do something about that title. It just sucks. Even just call it Elm Street. But they have to lose that "The First Murders".

Okay, lets say for a minute that he is telling the truth. It doesn't matter anyway, because this still isn't confirmed. If New Line has approached Heather Lagenwhatever, they've probably only said: "If this happens, would you possibly be interested?" It's still only rumors. They haven't booked studio time. There isn't a director or producer or ANY cast. It's only a script.

Yea... the movie might turn out ok but i dont think it will be anything special. Of course ill see it... maybe it will b alright. They just gotta change that name of First Murders to somethin else.

this movie is still a rumor. i don't remember were i read it, because it has been a while. but in an interview that robert england gave about freddy vs jason, he said so far that that this is still all speculation because they haven't even got a script yet.

i think it would probably be more disturbing than scary, most likely he would only kill like 5 year old girls in the boiler room
it wouldnt be as terrifying as him turning kids into pizza and after eatting them saying such witty remarks as "i love SOUL food"
i still wouldnt mind seeing this movie as long as the whole thing wasnt just him killing kids in a boiler room, and since he wouldnt have his make-up on it could give robert englund more acting credibility (if he does a good performance rather than just making wisecracks) instead of just type-casting him as freddy krugar (the one with the costume).

This,if made,would probably more of a suspense film,like Silence of the Lambs.Not that violent,but disturbing as Hell.
