I would love to see metroid along with zelda be turned into movies. They both have terrific stories.... The good news is that Metroids rights have been sold by Nintendo to a major company...however, they continue to hold onto zelda

hey mario brother was bad but good even thou boser shoudl of been a spiked shell not a human but still hey give nintendo another chance ..witht eh MT movie heck the comnmercal was good enough so if htye do that it will bo sweet

Game adaptions aren't the best movies around so it might be better to leave Metroid and Zelda alone

Metroid was canned a while back. The contact was out dated and never remade.
But Hypnotic bought the rights to Eternal Darkness: The Movie and TV series, so expect that in 2005.

I agree that there hasn't really been a good video game movie, however, I believe that these games have detailed stories that potentialy could be hits

The best video game movie would be Metal Gear Soild 1,2,or 3.
Although 2 is mindboggling

A whole new story for a MGS movie would be better....
Twists that nobody would expect..unlike if it was based on a game, where the players would expect it...

A Metroid Prime movie would mean she would need to team up with people or it would end up being a silent movie more or less. Samus doesn't need to talk unless she has someone to talk to and the baddies don't look like they can talk.

After Street Fighter, there should have not been anymore video game films. Resident Evil was okay, could have been better had they had characters from the game in the movie.

There was the idea about making a movie and Universal (I think) wanted to sign some contracts.... but suddenly they decided to put the project down...
