Who's Up For A CCL3 game?

Just checking who'd be up for another one if we can get it off the ground?

For those unfamiliar with the previous CCL games - it's basically a hacker-slasher serial-killer game where you have the opportunity to get knocked off by a person or persons unknown.

Think Camp Crystal Lake and Friday 13th...which, curiously is where it got it's name from ;)

The one thing I will say is, if you're going to sign up, please be prepared to play/post regularly - at least once per day.

As one or more of you are going to be unknowing serial killers, the game needs you all to be posting and moving, one of the killers from the first game vanished after the game started and it was difficult to moderate that person as a killer when they never moved :(

This game will be co-run by myself and Ty Ross - I had a number of very welcome volunteers, thanks to everyone who offered their time and help, but I chose Ty because he's probably had the most suitable CV with CS Holiday Gone Wrong.

Don't know how long it'll take to get going - haven't started on the new map yet. But soon I hope.

Oops! Sorry folks - been away for a long weekend (see Photo album to see what exactly ;) ) - just got back last night (that's yesterday afternoon about 2pm for most of you :D ), and was knackered.

Yes - everyone will post as themselves using their usual accounts - the whole secret identity thing in CCL2 was just too complicated. The rules are the same as the basic rules for CCL1 (see link on first page of this thread) with the addition of Ty's 'Cards Of Doom!!!!' ;).

Some locations may not be accessable at the start of the game, they may require cards to be drawn first.

NO player will be entering this game armed to the teeth :p - you are all average 'Joe's' living a 'normal' life...at least at the start ;)

Full details of location together with the new map should be posted (hopefully) on friday or saturday at the latest.

Please remember that anyone signing up for this will really need to post at least once per day if possible, If you're going to drop out, PLEASE let Ty or myself know beforehand!

no - you can definitely interact - and it's encouraged. Shanks and Ty are both really good about incorporating the players' actions into their plot lines.

Do a search on Holiday Gone Wrong - or - Camp Crystal Lake - or - CCL2, you'll see how everyone gets to throw their own stuff into the mix

Some Words About the Cards of Doom

I've changed the way the cards work just a touch. The new system is simpler and should work well.

Basicly when I go into the thread I will post simply "A fate has been decided". Whoever the player is with the post above me will be the focus of the card drawn (the old system involved two decks and assigning cards to players). I will then post the effect the card has in a seperate post. Keep in mind a few things:

1) Not all cards are bad
2) Some cards effect everyone no matter who is the one who gets the draw
3) Some cards effect everyone but the one who draws them
4) All cards are open to creative usage

Also it is important I mention.... the weather. Some cards will change this but unless otherwise stated the weather this year at Crystal Lake is overcast and a warm 80 degrees (perfect for swimming). There will also be a fairly strong breeze going through the area (perfect for sailing).
