Issues with the celebrity forum

Well kids, it's time for a big reprimand for yours truly. I'm really getting sick of all that's going on in this forum. I don't know why it's just THIS particular forum but it needs to stop. There have been people threatening each other and MUCHO name calling. Please stop right now! If someone says something to you that you don't like, don't retaliate on the thread. PM a moderator. Let them handle it. That's their jobs and they do it. If you continue to do this we will all end up losing that forum and that would be a tragic thing. So please. For the sake of all humanity, take it to the moderators.

The poems were funny, and he seemed to be taking that in stride and with a good sense of humor about himself. There were a few people that just flat out told him he was sick and disturbed or whatever, and that may have crossed the line. Actually, I'm still not so sure that the guy isn't putting us on anyway, so it may be a non-issue.

I don't see spam as a big problem here yet. Probably because there are relatively few people actually posting. On some boards, (which shall remain nameless) it's so out of control that the only threads the mods shut down are the ones that complain about the spam. They can't or don't want to handle it. From what I've seen in my short time here, unruly people and threads get banned and closed in short order.

Yes I agree, I thought the Alicia forum was very great as well as intertaining and I also like the stalking one and that was funny and entertaining ...I mean they had 300 posts each! It was a good thing and for the most part I think that we all were friends on the board...some people did come straght out and try to hurt me, but Clarke with the poems is certainly a friend and I like him and he didn't mean to hurt me by any of it...I just laughed at that and it WAS funny....I even admitted it....some of the posts like I am sick and f ed up is just mean...hurtfull as well.

Very cool of you Jeff. I was considering asking a mod to close that Alicia thread, because it really just degenerated into people giving you a hard time. But I'm glad you took it in stride. I hope that I didn't come off as being hard on you, because I was just trying to give you a some advice without being too judgemental. I have been off the net for a couple of days due to the virus that hit microsoft stuff. Now that I'm back, I see that a couple of threads were closed and that there are complaints about the poems I wrote......I apologise to any one it offended....I have already pm'd Jeff with an apology....Jeff and I have joked with each other for a long time, he always seemed to get the jokes and not be offended, there was nothing malicious in it...

Again, I am sorry if I upset or offended anyone....no one, Jeff included, complained or asked me not to do it anymore....If I had known people were getting upset, I would have quit.
