This is my idea - not currently happening. I want your replies

The Legend of Zelda [2005]: One 4-hour film/game. This game will feature 4 hours of movie footage, amking it more like a proper movie, than a game. It will be on 5-disks, with an extra 2 disk for extras.

The movie-stuff is split into 5 Chapters, so 5 Disks. The game goes on so after a little live-action scene, there is a task or something along those lines to do. Unlike the past Zelda games, in this game you play as Zelda, Link AND Aryll, all of which have grown up. There are 3 different stories to be played, unlike Resident Evil and Enter the Matrix, you're not a chosen by you character. You also play as other characters in the story, such as Tinkle.

The Story: The Sky of The West has darkened, and news has spread that Ganon has returned, but with thousands of Moblins. Now Tetra, Link and Aryll, all 11 years older than the last time they were fighting Ganon, have to go to different worlds, find an army to fight the evil army, and save the Earth from Ganon's rule.

The gameplay is exactly the same, but REALISTIC. From when it changes from Movie footage to Game, there is no difference in look - thus why there are 5 disks!

The looks of the actors determine what the characters look like in real life. However, the movie will NOT get a theatrical release. It will be interigated into the game seamlessly, and be released in the game.

It will be made by Nintendo, using many of their departments, while the movie footage will be shot by Warner Brothers. The movie-game is exclusive to NINTENDO DOLPHIN (TBA), Nintendo's 2005 Home Console Release. It will be the first NINTENDO DOLPHIN first-party game, and released on launch day. Warner Brothers are also in-charge of marketing the movie-game, so there'd be tonnes of posters, trailers and TV ads.

There are multi-player aspects. Nintendo has developed the self-managing server, so there is no charge for the online multiplayer aspect. Here's the aspect: On Disk 4 and 5 where the war begins, 2 NINTENDO DOLPHINs can link, forming a up-to-8-player group. This group can then join which ever group is currently online, and fight Ganon's army. They can also fight other groups, in deathmatches. As with the last game, the new game would link up to the current GameBoy, to act as a radar-scope.

There are also TWO extra disks, which have the following - the complete movie, audio-commentaries( by people on both the movie side and game side), deleted scenes (which were never meant to become game levels and etc), storyboards, trailers, etc...

The packaging would be the same as LOTR's extended editions, as it's a special game.

Reply with your thoughts...

Neat. I still won't buy the new Nintendo even if it did come true.

All i can say is, wishful thinking from start to end. ;)

It'd be neat if they did put that much effort into one game, though.

they did sorta with Enter the Matrix, but the gameplay was crap, and the directors couldn't make such a big game, as they had 2 more important films to make.

Maybe Nintendo should actually consider summin like this. I wouldn't mind a "lost Pokemon episode" becoming a game. That would be neat. Maybe Nintendo could release:

POKéMON: Battle Across Time, where it's a movie-game. That way you can play as Ash, Brock or the new girl, May.

It sounds cool just way too far fetched. Slightly less far fetched if it wasn't live action but still out there.

That's the biggest pile of crap I have ever read! So what you're saying is that you want a movie with a tiny bit of actual gameplay squeezed on? Go play the mess that is Metal Gear Solid 2.

... useless casual gamers...

Errr. Shut up.

Read it more carefully, i said Enter the Matrix. (Plus anyway, i'm going to call you a PS2 gamer from now, even if you're not)

I'm not a useless casual gamer anyway. I have all Ninty consoles, the playstations and Segas. What do you mean by casual?

He called me a casual gamer - i don't know what that means. And because you're supporting him, you're also a PS2 fan - oh wait! I already knew that.

HAH!

Nah - sorry spiderman. Don't mean it.

Nintendo Dolphin?!

Jeez, haven't heard that in a while.....

Their new system won't be called Dolphin......They've used "Codename: Dolphin" for every new system they've been designing since the N64.

LOL - the console after N64 was GameCube. So you're right there, they have been calling any system after N64 Dolphin.

But the new console's codename is N5. I want the actual system to be called NINTENDO DOLPHIN. Just imagine the intro when you turn it on.

And Pokemon Collesium does have a big single player mode!
