DTS question

I have a Pioneer 500 watt receiver that does the DTS decoder in it. It is hooked up to my Pioneer DVD player using the optical cable. I get dolby digital, but no DTS signal will go through when I put DTS disks in. I had it one night, but I had to disconnect everything and rehook it all up to move some furniture. Now no DTS. Anyone have a clue to help me out here??

Have you checked that the DTS output is set on from your dvd players setup menu? That's what I had to do with my Pioneer player before I got even a beep from my receiver with DTS selected.

Your player might have reseted to original settings if you unplugged its power.

Thanks for your help. I went into the setup and everything was fine. Here I have an audio button on the remote and I have to turn the DTS on everytime I play a disk with it. weird.
