Whats the band/artist you have most recently discovered?

They dont have to be new bands or artists, just what ones have you just recently discovered.

I heard "growing on me." by the darkness for the first time today - Im not saying they are great but Im going to look into them a bit more they are interesting and sound completely over the top.

I also recently stated really liking Michelle Branch. I picked her cd up the day it came out, based on a suggstion, and to my surprise, I really like it.

I guess Radiohead is the band that I have really gotten into recently...and I sort of stumbled over them, after years of hearing about them, I decided to try them out...

I normally don't just discover things...I look for them...I have some Jimmie Rodgers, Charlie Patton, and Django Reindhart cds coming in the mail as I type this!

The Ataris are pretty cool. They have a sweet cover of Boys of Summer.

I actually recently discovered two great musicians, but different genre's. I really like Jethro Tull's older stuff, sounds great. Also like funkmaster flex. I saw a commercial for his new show on Spike TV, looked good, and tried out a cd? I was impressed. I usually don't like that much rap or hip-hop. The show looked cool too, he is having eminem on this sat. Should be great.

Ghost of the Robot, their "Mad Brilliant" CD. I ordered this album online based solely on who the singer is (James Marsters, who plays Spike on Buffy), and wasn't expecting much. I was shocked to find that it's very good stuff, and it's played pretty much non-stop on my stereo since I got it. You have to more or less track down this CD to obtain it, but if you're into that Weezer sort of sound, I highly recommend you go through the trouble.
