I see even less I see a 70mil final total for this film because despite a strong first week it will take a severe tumble in subsequent weeks and lose its hold as is the trend with movies today hot first week them tumble. To take a decent hold Freaky Friday needed to make at least 20mil plus on its first two days.

no it didn't. It will make around $24mil 3day and $35mil, and it's a kid movie and there's no competition, so it will get there

The three day figure is in at about $18,668,000. The film will reach its peak on either Saturday or Sunday which will bring the five day to about 34-37mil. Then next week I predict at least a 30% drop which will bring the second week to about 11mil. It's third week it will gross about 7mil.

What do you mean it has no competition what about spy kids 3 that had no competition and it took a 41.6% drop in its second week.

By the way Janey take a look at your Jeepers Creepers post for some real facts that you overlooked.

Well so far it looks like my prediction is on track with Freaky Friday making estimated $8,200,000 on Saturday and estimated $6,100,000 on Sunday one day peaked then it droped like it will in following weeks.

Well you didn't hear this from me but...*glances left and right*...Hilary Duff used to date Aaron "my brother is in the music business so that's how I got in too" Carter from January 2002 until last August. Supposedly, during that time, Aaron was also getting some of that nasty from Lindsay. Therefore, the bad blood has ensued.

Now fast foward to present time, Hilary showed up at the premiere of Freaky Friday with *Lohan's b/f in the movie* Chad Michael. The two allegedly held hands for part of the night. Lindsay's reaction and I quote "Maybe they're dating, she's 15: he's 21. Best of luck to 'em: Demi and Ashton!"

Ouch, such a nice compliment. I wish these two would just wrestle in a pool of mud and make it into a movie. I bet that would be the highlight of both their careers.

Yeah there's been a few remakes that I've seen (including the Jodie Foster original one) but not all mother /daughter switching bodies.

There was a made for tv one starring Katherine Heigl switching bodies with her less popular sister, another one a long time ago starring Kirk Cameron switching bodies with his dad, and most recent The Hot Chick, had also the same premise.

I think this subject/storyline has been done to death.

Movie sounds terrible because the idea has been overused. But I think Lindsey's hot so I may go.

They had an article on that in People. I thought it was hilarious. I'm rooting for Lindsey. Always liked her more..not to mention the fact I don't like Aaron Carter, I think he's a rip off..and the only acting Hilary Duff does is the scoffing crap...Lindsey actually is able to shed some tears, and really did good in Freaky Friday...you felt like she was the mom.

No kidding, that was my source. They always got the goods. Lindsay is by far a better actress. If Hilary wasn't 15, I'd swear she banged her way into show business.

Well Freaky Friday droped about 50% from last Friday. The movie won't last.

teewee1432

Its up to over 50 million dollars, so its still doing good at the box-office.

The last thing we need is another Freaky Friday remake.

08-17-2003, 05:38 PM
Wow this movie took a 41% drop from last week with an estimated take of $13,105,000 in the second week and a emtimated total of $57,923,000. My prediction is still going strong.

teewee1432
08-17-2003, 11:21 PM
But before its entire run is over it will make between 80-100 million dollars, so either way its a box office hit.
