IT WOULD be a dream come true to see halo on the big screen, what do you think?

I've never had the honour of playing Halo what makes it so much better than any other 1st person shooter?

i dont really know what makes it the best, theres just something to it that everyone likes.

Eyha i know i have the game, what I am saying is theres just something to it that makes it better than everything else...maybe because you can kill your own marines nad they can turn on you! its fun to do that, or maybe because you can do co-op and both ride on the warthog and stuff.

No. If any hot video game should be made into a movie, the Legacy Of Kain series could be worthwhile.

It's no secret that Remedy Entertainment borrowed some ideas from John Woo and The Matrix, so we expect the screen translation to be a low budget affair with plenty of violence and slo-mo effects. Says Scott Faye:

"We are excited to have the opportunity to craft the next successful video game icon into a larger-than-life film icon. We are extremely fortunate to have a great creative partnership on this project with the game's creators, 3D Realms and Remedy Entertainment. We hope this will be the first of many creative collaborations."

However, don't expect it to star Russell Crowe or Bruce Willis. Max Payne: The Movie is more likely to be a straight-to-video affair unless the can sign some big name to the project. Maybe Woo himself?

Max Payne is being made into a movie as of now, and will feature a lot of bullet time.

Devil May Cry is underway and hoping to start production in the near future

Doom is getting a movie make over

Halo is attempting to be made into a movie, and after time it's possible.

The Legacy of Kain series has been said trying to drop a movie contract.

Face it, games are being made into movies quite often.

I think Silent Hill might be getting a treatment as well, so is Deus Ex, not to mention more Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil films coming.

It better be good anyway. It has all the potential of being a great movie, so if it fails I will throw a fit.

Yeah if they do make a hola movie it should follow the book"Halo: The Flood" unless they wanna do a prequal, i would still be satisfied with that

um...the game itself is 50...but then again the xbox is 200, but in my opinon its the best council out

Anyone who hasn't played Halo by now should at least rent it. It's one of the best games I've ever played. I can't get enough of The Silent Cartographer. :applaud:

You know what I love about the silent cartographer? when you do 2 player co-op mode you get to race and have demolition derbys on the warthog!

That guy was insane...Thats what makes this game so bloody brilliant...

Am I the only one who would fly the banshee around for hours just exploring the top of the level

Exploring is fun. Of course i'll do that with any game that allows you to easily.

I think I did a lot of flying around in the Draken remake, that didn't progress me any further in the game really.
