Chicago UK DVD

Hi UK peep,

Following the trend, the Disney UK will be releasing Chicago on DVD this Monday - i've seen the disk already, as my father owns a DVD rental shop, and the delivery came today, also with Blue Chrush and The Ring. All good DVDs, but Chicago could be better. It's NO Moulin Rouge DVD, that's for sure.

A month ago i was dreading the DVD features of the US DVD, as it's nothing compared to ALL of the other musical DVDs. Expect a proper DVD soon, maybe at Christmas. The UK DVD is the same as the US, and has limited features, which are good!

Remember - Monday 4th August.

PS: Hold your head up high - finally the UK is getting attention. Before we would have had to wait between 2 - 6 months for a movie to be released here after the US do.

I have no idea why Buena Vista is so lazy to make a decent DVD for this incredible film? It's won a ton of awards, it's critically acclaimed and the audiences loved it! WHY OH WHY????

I guess it's because BV wants to make more money, by giving us only a few features, but later on will give us a special edition......I hate that........it seems that everyone is out there to rip people off.........greedy greedy greedy..........anyway, I'll just try to keep back for a while on buying this DVD and try to wait for the SE.

Does anyone know when the Special Ed. will be hitting stores????
