A bit of Info on Wingman , When Batman's Buddy , Robin (in more ways than one back in the 50's) Went down (And we know where to ) Bats took this useless sack of crap as his running mate (Playmate possibly) .
Guess Bats needed someone around that looked even gayer than Robin.
Wingman popped up (LOL) a few times in the 80's in The Global Guradians a team even lamer than he was.
My mind hurts researching this crap.;)

That's just Murphy Anderson's Style , He was the Rob Liefeld of The 60's.

A little Background on that Robin Costume for those who don't know , (Earth 2 was Basically an Alternate DC Earth where they put all the Golden Age Dudes of the 40's to late 50's , Basically at this point there were 2 of each hero , It was confusing to say the least, They were mostly retconned out of existence) When The Earth 2 Batman was retiring , Robin decided to take up the mantle of his mentor by Mismashing each of their costumes and joining the Justice Society of America , the result , this god awful almalgam.The color scheme was dreadful.
It didn't last and Robin would get an even more colorful costume.At least it had pants.
