"White Blood Cells" by THE WHITE STRIPES
picked it up for cheap at a local small-time CD store. Can't stop listening to it. My second favorite band ever(#1 is ofcourse Led Zeppelin).

Status Quo: Heavy Traffic - back to Quo's bluesier roots.
Def Leppard: X - melodic rock at it's best with some killer guitar solos.

you know, i don't like sumday near as much as sophtware slump but it's growing on me.
i saw both grandaddy and sigrus ros in concert this year. grandaddy's show was stellar and sigur ros ... well ... i compare seeing them live to walking on the moon.
last album i bought, though was Bonnie Prince Billy's I See a Darkness. good stuff. very broody.

I bought "New York City" by The Peter Mallick Group featuring Norah Jones. Short (7 tracks) but really good, especially if you're a Norah fan.
