i have seen hoobastank open up for 311 and hoobastank was terrible live. and i also saw linkin park and they sounded like crap live as well. who else sucks live?

oh yeah i also went to this middle-aged rockers festival and i saw david lee roth and steppenwolf. they were both just god awful. but foghat was there so they made everything better. "im a fool for the city...."

i saw them at Woodstock '99 and the lead singer, whats his name dexter? anyways, he could NOT hit the highnotes to save his life that night. the song set list was great! but not his vocals.

Pink sucks live. Totally flat and off key.

(For the record, I did not go to see a Pink concert. It was a mixed bag concert and she happened to be one of the artists).

alot of those pop singers suck live. britney, pink, j .o which is why alot of them mostly lip sync now in concert; and i can see why...

linkin park has gotten better. just some shows are bad (house of blues vegas 2001 blech). one stand out set is Rock am ring 2001.
ja rule is bad live. he doesnt even rap. he just says" Uhhh, what? what? baybay thug-loving, uhhh!".

the only rap i like live is when they play with a band. its just weird looking at someone perform on stage when there are no instruments on stage. doesnt seem right.......

LoL i feel the exact same way about him, i hate ja rule and murdr inc but honestly i actually feel 50 cent sucks live like i know hes sort of new and all and hes one of my fav rappers and ive only seeen him perform live twice on tv but he just sounded messed up or somthin, sounds much better on cd but den again who doesnt it also couldve been loyd banks of g unit who messed it up

Michelle branch.. for some reason doesnt sound that great live... i saw her on Leno.. and she sucked. Saw her do a live duo with Carlos santana.. same thing.. just not good live.

As far as the worst, (and I'm going to get flamed) any "neo"punk band. Any of the crap on warped tour and especially NOFX. BORING!!!! It's like listening to one of their albums and watching them jump around a bit. When I go to see a concert I want to see a SHOW, not some dudes bouncing around like they were a garage band on stage for the first time. Entertain me, not do what everyone else does.

Linkin Park is actually decent live. Not perfection, but good enough. Macy Gray is the worst live. I saw her performance on Leno and it sucked the big one. Oh but hold on, Macy Gray can't sing so nevermind.

I haven't heard linkin park live but from what I have heard they put on a good show. I'll reserve judment until I do.


And form what i gather most acts on talk show don't sound very good, not the same accoustics as a venue....

deftones suck ass! i saw them on the Sanitarium Tour in Dallas and man they sucked! the lead singer sounds like he is falling asleep or something.

Disturbed is actually pretty good in concert. saw them at Ozzfest in San Antonio.

Linkin Park freaken kicked ass in concert!!! Saw them also at Sanitarium Tour. I would love to see them again!!! As well as Mudvayne!

I've seen Linkin Park twice now and both times they tore it down with two of the best performances I've ever seen

Pink also was decent when I saw her open for Lenny

Mudvayne and The Def Tones are the only ones I've seen who sucked

I find it funny how everyone who mentions seeing a pop singer preform has to qualify it by saying that they didn't really want to see them anyway.

Linkin Park has improved, on their concerts 2 or 3 years ago it was pretty bad, but now the are much better.

Dittp to that! I didn't even finish watching the grammies because her performance was so bad. I wanted to smash my tv then and there, but luckly I had my music to stop me from doing that. :)
