Blade has been my favourite so far (we'll see if Van Helsing can take it's place) and this project got me really excited. I guess all the information you can find on it (and that is almost nothing) here (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0359013) .Let me know if you have any other info on this

Here is some new info on Blade : Trinity
August 21, 2003 - According to today's Variety and Hollywood Reporter, two young thespians have joined the cast of the third (and probably final) film in the Blade series, currently titled Blade: Trinity. And there's also word of a potential spin-off...
The trades scoop that actor Ryan Reynolds (Van Wilder, The In-Laws) is in talks to portray vampire hunter Hannibal King in the film, and that the lovely Ashley Scott (Birds of Prey, S.W.A.T.) may be joining the cast as Whistler's daughter, a female vampire hunter. Both actors join Wesley Snipes who is reprising his role as the title character.
THR describes Hannibal King as "an acerbic vampire hunter who is in league with" Blade, while Variety reveals that Blade 3 "calls for the Hannibal character to team closely with a female vampire hunter." That would be the role that Scott is up for.
The big news is that these two fresh-faced characters may be spun-off into their own vampire hunting film(s) after Blade has run its course.
David Goyer, who wrote the two previous films in the series, is writing, directing and producing the third installment in the New Line franchise based on the Marvel Comics characters. The film is tentatively targeted at a mid-2004 release.

Im a huge fan of both movies and thought the second one was better. But, the only thign I dont like about this one is they might be casting a wrestler, Triple H, for a role. Now, im a huge wreslting fan and Triple H is the most hated guy in wrestling in possibly the past 5 years. Plus, hes not really a great actor. They could make up for it by casting Ryan Reynolds though. But, Ive yet to see him in a role like this. He'll probably provide comic relief.

This movie sounds interesting, but I'm not to sure about seeing Ryan Reynolds in a semi serious role after seeing him in comedies like Van wilder.

Well I'm a big fan of both movies too but I've never heard anything about Triple H taking a role in the third Blade movie. I personally never liked him ever since the beginning (because he plays the heel role very well) but he's really good built man. Maybe that's why they might have him involved. But all the wrestler-in-movie experinces have been really crap (save for Hulk Hogan in Rocky) especially Black Mask 2...
I'm somehow confident that even apperance of Triple H cannot screw Blade : Trinity up

"Van Helsing" will never be able to touch "Blade". That notion is too far fetched for words.

Yeah Blade has a seperate place in my heart always. And here is another good reason to be looking forward to it
"7th Heaven" vixen Jessica Biel, who stars in the keenly anticipated remake of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," has joined the cast of another venerable franchise, "Blade: Trinity."
Biel will play Abigail, the daughter of Whistler (Kris Kristofferson) who inherits the vampire-slaying duties that once belonged to Blade (Wesley Snipes). The third installment of the Marvel Comics-based franchise is being written and directed by David Goyer. New Line Cinema is releasing both "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (Oct. 17) and "Blade: Trinity."
"I think Jessica will blow people away in 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre,' and we are excited to have her next movie," New Line production president Toby Emmerich said.
"Blade: Trinity" will start shooting next month in Vancouver. It is tentatively set for release next August. Biel's big-screen credits also include "The Rules of Attraction," "Ulee's Gold" and "Summer Catch."

I would rather have seen Ashley Scott play Whistlers daughter in the film. But since Whistlers from the country, I guess Biel has that more downhome girl look than Ashley does.

After seeing Ashley Scott's inability to act in Birds of Prey, she just doesn't do it for me. And from a male testosterone standpoint, Jessica Biel is just all-out hot as balls.

No. I read he dissappears for awhile but shows up again once the vamps start running amok through town.

Pretty ignorant to dump the shows failure off on Ashleys inability to act. I think she did pretty well, the show IMO was good, and shes hot to boot. But the Batman comic book fanboys and their *****ing got the show cancelled. There were other people on that show besides her, pretty sad to single her out.

God please no.
In a strange way I hope Blade does die. I'd rather see that then see him "retire". He should go out doing what he does best, killing suckheads. Except he should die in a really spectacular fashion while accomplishing some huge achievement against the vampires.

Wow, you just took a hell of a leap. At what point in my post did I dump the show's failure on her non-acting? I didn't even mention that the show failed! I did not "single her out for that reason. I did so because she's the topic of the thread. If one of the other ladies from the show were mentioned for some reason, I would have said something about them. But since you brought it up, fanboys didn't get the show cancelled. Bad writing and bad acting got the show cancelled. Admittedly, she was only one piece of the failure. I do agree that she's hot; I just think Jessica Biel's hotter. Sorry if my ignorance upsets you.

You guys are crazy. I never want Blade franchise to die in any way. Whatever the other Vampire Hunting group can form a new franchise but not in the expense of Blade's death...

Van Helsing will destroy the blade series. god wesley snipes sucks, after blade his career is over. Blade 2 was god awful. if you go to filmjerk.com you can read a script review of blade:trinity, which appears to be lame as hell.
and jessica biel is not hot. she looks like a skinny ass crackwhore in that picture.

Not at all. Blade II was just as good as the original. It's one of the best sequels ever made.
