I see what you are saying and I agree. they did what they could with the time they had. i stand by what i said 75% cut out
However I should have added that I did like the 25% that was left.
From Hell is a good movie, and the atmosphere is awesome. you can really see how dingy London was back then. Hell you can almost smell it.

Judgment Day: Intelligent Design on Trial - 9.5/10

A fine introduction for those new to the subjects of Intelligent Design and Evolution. But the documentary suffers from the usual problems that plague all other documentaries: reenactments that end up terribly cheesy and poorly acted -- but that is beside the point.

Highly recommended.

Does Reygadas even know how to shoot? This film is a mess; filled with trivial events that bear no relevance to the matter at hand. I'm sure his "fans" would like to pretend this is deeply philosophical, but it isn't. It is a classic example of a director who doesn't know what he wants or where he is going, so he fills the film with "nice" scenery to make up for the lack of anything remotely interesting.

Even aesthetically, its impossible to watch with all of the ridiculous POV shots that make no sense. What an infuriating experience.

Basically, I'd rather be kicked in the face than ever watch this insufferable mess again.
