I just done watch the classic movie, "Psycho" in 60's film on TCM channel.

I've seen many horror movies but none as great as Psycho. Usually movies create suspence by using blood appearance, music you hear in a lot of movies and by making a stupid killer appear out of nowhere, killing for no reason. Psycho is about a trouble-minded "boy" who seems harmless, but has the mind of a Psychopath. Also it has bealivable story. And has an artistic "touch" in certain scenes, like "the shower" when you hear the violins, see the knife coming at the victim and finally when the mix of water and blood drains down the tub. I would give this rate 10/10

Amazingly well made, the splash of colour was amazingly haunting (i'd liked to have seen just a touch more) BUT i felt that the film had a wonderful pace until the last 20 mins which seemed a little hurried.

I agree. It seems to get abused amongst the critics a bit too much I feel. The first is still my fav though.

I actually saw it in some store for 10 bucks on blu-ray yesterday. In the previously viewed area though but that's not a big deal since these guys make sure they're in good shape before they accept. It was the double disc set too. I was sooooo tempted to get it even though I still don't own a blu-ray player yet. :D
