Becoming? He's been one of the masters of filmmaking for quite awhile now. If you want quality Bergman, look more towards: The Silence, Persona, and Fanny and Alexander. Enjoy.

I will admit that STLD is not a great movie but it is passable really early in the morning with nothing else on. I'm also not saying Cannonball Run is on the same level as Match point but CR gave me several laugh-out-loud moments so I rated it high but Match Point is ceartinly better.

"The Descent"

Violent,gory, and the best damn horror movie I have seen in a looooog time.
A film that truly builds up the tension and suspense. Great performances and some cool looking monsters. No stupid jokes, no sterotype bimbos, just good solid acting combined with simple but effective FX. This one will be a classic some day.

Fun, very silly western spoof. Hayek and Cruz are two women from very different backgrounds, who, through a series of circumstances, end up working together as bank robbers and in true Robin Hood fashion they steal from the rich banks to help out the poor. Not a great western, but lots of fun.

Saw it some time ago. The action was good but everything else was meh. And Besson is only writer and producer of this movie. Its DVD will be released on September 5, 2006.
