Brokeback Mountain was better made. I really got into the characters. Narnia wasn't bad itself. It was an entertaining fantasy film that stayed true to the book(or at least from the last time I read it). I was suprised by how much I liked Brokeback Mountain. I pity any one who won't see it because of the gay sex( which wasn't very graphic and was only shown once.) It's a great movie that deserved being nominated

It's ashame that most people around here will never apriciate the beauty of the movie. Around here there's a lot of homophobic people. I doubt I'll mention that I watched it to a lot of people. People around here are very narrowminded to stuff like that.

I agree. I wasn't even worried about them being gay.The love scene in the movie also was done in awkward way,because it would be awkward for the characters,plus it was dark, short and wasn't graphic because it didn't need to. They didn't need to show it more than once,because they already got the point across. I never even felt uncomfortable during those scenes. There's a lot of stuff that happens in the characters lives. Ennis mariage went down hill after she caught them kissing you really do feel bad for her,but it's a difficult movie. They both have love for each other,but they both are cheating on their wives. You want it to work out for them,but in the end it can't. Jacks death was very depressing.I liked how they showed him getting beaten while his wife told Ennis a fake story

Overall I think this would make a great date movie. A great modern day romance movie. Much better than stuff like "The notebook" and "A Walk to remember"

I tryed not to let that take me out of the film. It's just one of their character flaws. I think part of both of them wanted to have two lives. One with their wives and one with each other. It just couldn't work out in the end

United 93 - 10/10

Here's my review:
Over the last few days, a lot of people have said to me that it's too soon for a movie about September 11th, 2001 or they say that I'm not going to see that "United 93". In some ways their are right that it is too soon for a movie about the biggest terrorist attacks on American soil and we may never be ready for a Hollywood production of 9/11/2001. Paul GreenGrass's movie(director of Bourne Supermacy and Bloody Sunday) is not a fictionalized look at the World Trade Center attacks neither is it a big budget movie like Oliver Stone's World Trade Center coming out in August. The movie follows the chronological order of what happened that day in a realistic and mature manner. The movie opens on the night before the attacks, with the three terrorists in their hotel room getting ready to board United Airlines Flight 93 the next day. United 93 is taking off at Newark Airport and is supposed to land in San Francisco. Greengrass's editor briskly cuts to the next day with passengers boarding United 93 at Newark Airport. Every passenger on board the aircraft is safe and has been through security at the airports with no problem. About half and an hour into the movie, a stewardist on American Airlines Flight 111 coming out of Boston reports to Airport Control Center that their plane has been hi-jacked. Minutes later, CNN has reported that the Flight bound to LAX has hit the World Trade Center and another plane coming from the southwest has hit the World Trade Center, also. On board, United 93 passengers are still safe and the hi-jackers on board haven't hi-jacked the plane yet. "United 93" is a hard to watch, hard to review film. I didn't watch the film for entertainment purposes, I watched it for 2 reasons. Number 1 reason, I watched it was to pay respect, to though's who died and survived United 93 and the terrorist attacks in New York and the second reason why I watched it was because GreenGrass is such a good director and that he casted a group of unknown actors instead of going with major Hollywood movie stars. I had no reason to cry through the film but I was filled with anger and hate for those terrorists who hi-jacked the plane as well as the hi-jackers who ran the plane into the World Trade Center. I also felt nervous within the first half hour or so because the film builds up to the World Trade Center bombing and as well as "United 93" being hi-jacked. But, "United 93" is a film that's a must see about the day the music died.

That's weird, so did I. I was bored and saw they had it for free and in High Def, so I figured what the Hell. Awesome movie. I have the dvd as well.

I just relized that since we had comcast High Def that it actually lets us use On Demand. Pretty cool feature I must say. I love all the free movies we get
