What a brillant little gem! This is a great satire on the whole media and Hollywood! Al Pacino was just wonderful and the always lovely Cathrine Keener was a knockout. One of my favorite films. Andrew Niccol should be making more movies!

Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood - 5/10. Not bad, jumped around a little bit too much for my taste. Granted, flashbacks were neccesary but the transition between present and past was too damn choppy. On the bright side, the bond between the ladies was great. Good acting.

Shark Tale - 7/10. Cute animated flick. That's about all there is to it haha.

Amityville Horror (2005) - 6.5/10. Oh my Jesus. I am such a puss. This movie scared me. That little girl CREEPED ME OUT. And the basement..oh man. When he's dreaming? What the...poor tortured souls. Bleh. Sleeping with the light on tonight and it's the second time I've seen it.

The Interpreter:9/10-Before I saw it I thought that it might be borring, but it was a really well written movie with amazing performances by Nicole Kidman and especially Sean Penn.

You got to be kidding me?


You want the plot well I'll tell ya. Donnie is a boy in 1989 who is told by a frank(the bunny) that the world will end in 28 days(I forget the other details). Donnie basically trys figuring out what this all means. Without getting into details donnie basically sacrifices himself at the end to save the world by taking off the wing of the plane and having it go through a time portal look up the ending more for a better understanding

House of Wax -- Meh. 5.75/10. What a fitting end for Paris Hilton though - in her panties, on her knees with something through her head. Hahaha. I started laughing so hard when that scene rolled around. Would have been better had they expanded more on the brother's story. Creepy though.

Bewitched - Cute. fluffy fun. 7/10. Kidman was cute and he was tolerable. I love Michael Caine and Shirley MacLaine (she's my hero!) so it was worth it. The cat in the film reminds me of my kitty that passed away so that was an "awww" moment.

I don't know why But I absolutely love this film. It has a good blend of humor/horror/style.

Great soundtrack too....Offspring doing the Ramones "I wanna be sedated "was very cool. LOL...plus the Offsprings singer gets his scalp ripped off by the killer hand while they are performing. Vey amusing.

The Crow - 9.75/10. I love this movie. I'm at the scene where he has the flashbacks. Oh man, it makes me cry. Very, very quotable movie.


Walking Tall - 10/10. Now that's a personal rating because I'm in love with The Rock. ;) My main gripe is that I wish it would have been somewhat longer...with more shirtless Rock in it! Haha.

Dakota Fanning is a very talented kid. She's going to do more great things, I know it. She thoroughly creeped me out in this one. I couldn't tell if she had a hand in it or if she was being victimized by Charlie. I figured it out about 10 minutes before the end of the movie..right when Elizabeth Shue walked in the house. I knew what was going on.

Good performance by DeNiro too.

My friend and I were watching the alternate endings and the only thing I can think of that would be better than the original ending, which creeped me out, would be to combine a few of the alternate endings.

Take show the original ending to the night..you'd be thinking "oh god, you've got a spazzed out kid", have her put Emily in bed, then the "you know I can't do that" with the door, then the mirror scene where you find out that she is institutionalized. Or something like that. The mirror in the alternate ending freaked me out!!

Ah well, I enjoyed the movie.

lol, very true, I enjoyed this movie as well but it had to grow on me but for the most part it was good! 8/10

I watched "Derailed" starring Clive Owen and Jennifer Aniston. A good film if you leave your brain at the door. I'm not joking either. If you do not expect a movie that is tough to figure out and bypass a few of the holes in this flick, you can still enjoy it. 7/10
