Û PLOT OUTLiNE....:
Û Two years after the events in "Final Fantasy VII", a disease called
Û 'Seikon-Shoukougun', or 'Geostigma', is spreading through the planet.
Û This disease is believed to have been caused by the body fighting off
Û foreign material that invaded the body two years earlier, at the end
Û of "Final Fantasy VII". Guilt-ridden and haunted by his past, ex-SOLDIER
Û Cloud Strife has decided to live a secluded, solitary life away from his
Û friends while maintaining "Strife's Delivery Service", whose headquarters
Û is located in Tifa Lockheart's bar, the Seventh Heaven. Tifa's bar serves
Û as an orphanage for children stricken with Geostigma. Here, Tifa keeps an
Û eye on Barret's six-year-old daughter, Marlene, while Barret searches the
Û planet for an alternative energy source to the fossil fuel, Mako. One day,
Û Cloud receives a phone call from the former Shinra, Inc. president, Rufus,
Û asking him for protection from a mysterious man named Kadaj. Kadaj, in the

The Interpreter- 8/10

What a neat little movie. But I have to warn you that this is not an action movie like the previews protray it. Hell it really isnt much of a thriller either. Rather its a powerfull and moving political drama with great performences. Penn, Kidman, Keener all act like normal people, and how normal people would act, it adds a demsion to the film. Overall this is film that will suffer greatly from the bad advertisements, it will do nothing but dissapoint unless you are mature enought to handle a slow charecter drama that raises some serious questions.
