Because they think compared to the first one, sequels are weaker. And most of people expected Revolutions to answer all questions.

In the Godfather, Part III, why did Michael forgive Kay so easily? He pretty much cut her out of his life after he found out that she had an abortion in Part II. I'm thinking it has to do with him getting older and dealing with the fact that he had his brother Fredo killed.

Whats so bad about Spiderman 2? Its one of the few action movies recently made with any depth to it.
I agree that it had some depth to it, but I just found all the dialog to be corney along with all the action sequences. The score by Danny Elfman also really annoyed me. It kept repeating itself and there was only one new piece of music written for the film which wasnt interesting at all(the Doc Ock theme). And how dumb was it when Mary-Jane was running out of the church in her wedding dress, Doc Ocks tenticles attacking all those doctors, Harry and Peter slaping eachother, ect., ect. And I also thought that Alfred Molina(Doc Ock) was terrible in the film. He must be one of the worst actors ever!

Of course this is all IMO :) .
