At first I didn't like the movie, but it's kinda grown on me. The romance is still cheesey but after listening to the commentaries on the Director's Cut, it's understandably so. It's also a rather sentimental movie, but I can go with that.

Starsky and Hutch....B
I remember the ads looking funny, but for some reason this film seems to have been forgotten. I checked it out yesterday. It's a perfect perody of those cop movies of the 70s and while some bits seemed unnecessary, I laughed my ass off through most of it.

The 400 Blows....A+
Terrific. I started watching a movie last night but out of the blue, I got the urge to revisit this instead. I also watched Antoine and Colette and plan on watching the other films in the Antoine Doniel series.

...Actually very good. Tom Hanks was great, very likeable and real. Thea ccent wasn't cheesy at all. Also, the actors/actresses did well surprsingly Stanley Tucci. The deliverance of his lines are **extremely** real and this was evident in the medicine scene. Not bad at all.

I, Robot - 8/10
...The special effects are sweet! The story line too wasn't that bad, the only problem I had was that the story takes place only 30 years from now; other than that the FX was great and the robots were bad-ass!

I didn't like the Twin Peaks movie very much when it was first released. I felt the Laura Palmer storyline was redundant and well covered on the series and that there were too many missing characters. Now that a lot of time has passed since I watched both the series and the movie, I'm able to judge the film on it's own merits. It's quite good but you may need to be a fan of the show to enjoy it.

I found it to be better on the second viewing, it's not as bad as it's been made out to be but it's still not as good as the original. I didn't like the use of Techno sounding music during the fight scenes (too repetative sounding) and I don't want to see anymore of the overhead, slowmotion backflip shots. That shot's becoming overused in movies. Otherwise I loved the movie.
