I love Chicago! I would give it a 10/10. But, then again, I am also a huge fan of musical theatre.

I haven't watched any movies today, but last night I watched:

The Core - 6/10 (Good special effects, not a bad storyline, but at times it seemed as though they took the concept of "willing suspension of disbelief" a bit too far)

Supersize Me - 5/10 (Good concept for a documentary, but I felt like I wasn't getting all the information. I got the feeling that what I was watching wasn't the whole truth)

No, it aired in '72 and featured McGavin as a reporter investigating a series of murders in Vegas which he believes were commited by a vampire. It was so successful that it spawned a sequel (The Night Strangler) and a short lived series called Kolchak: The Night Stalker. They were produced by Dan Curtis, creator/producer of the gothic soap opera Dark Shadows. These movies heavily influenced Chris Carter when he created the X-Files.

I found it to be just another movie relying solely on a cheap-trick twist ending. It seemed like lesser versions of better movies like it.

Bale was good though, and it was well shot. But ultimately it left something to be desired.

I am curious about "Shaolin Soccer".

This is my favourite movie of theirs and it's one of the best horror comedies of all time. Loved how they kept the monsters the same way as they were in their own movies, instead of played as jokes.

Man I'm gonna get this sometime when it goes down to 10 bucks. I usually don't double dip on DVDs, but this directors cut makes the movie a little different from the theatrical cut. I think the biggest thing being changed is the fact that the sex scene is cut out. I think that really changes Daredevils character. Oh well I'll have to check it out myself
