Donnie Darko 8.5/10 better than i expected. great ending. what was the song played at the end? it was beautyful.

The Hunted 8.6/10 i though i was watching a 90' action flick with all the lame action and stuff but it had style actually and turned out the be pretty good.
The Million Dollar Hotel 7.8/10 boring, only good thing was lookin at Milla Jovovich, even though Helena B. Carter could have done that part way better. i was dissapointed.
Monsters Ball 6/10 what a piece of crap. that movie gave me depressions. Halle got an oscar for that? ridiculous. ledgers performance was good though.
Phone Booth 9/10 that one ruled! Collin was great, and Kiefer's voice made the movie for me.
The Recruit 8.9/10 very good movie imo.
The Transporter 8.5/10 i felt this movie was stereotype at some points. like the girl and her father, wasn't realy interessting story. but the action was awesome! especially that car exploding scene, and the fight scenes.

I absolutely love this movie, yet I knew every twist and I knew every turn. Do you know why I still love it? I have written many stories, some just for fun, others I might have done and simply forgot, others I plan on publishing. I wrote a story soooo similar to the Village, aside from a few plot differences, its basically the same story, I knew the ending of the village, I guessed it before I knew anything. Thats why I love it. Its kinda like seeing your own work in real life, sure I have imaged what my stories would be like brought to life, but with the Village, I'm basically seeing someone else's interrpretation of my own ideas. No wonder I love M. Night Shyamalan.

It also manages to waste one a fantastic talent pool of actors (William Hurt's line delivery reaches Shatner territory by the end). Rotten to the core.

Technially i watched this last night/this morning.

I watched Messiah: The First Killings/The Reckoning - it was actually a 2-parter that was released on to video/DVD. A 2 and a half hour gritty London police drama about a serial killer who goes around killing men who have the same names and similar jobs to the Apostles by killing them in the same or similar way as to how they were originally killed.

It stars the engaging Ken Stott as the cop in charge of the investigation and one of my fave actors Jamie Draven.

10/10

Now I might see if I can get hold of the book as well because according to friends it's even better than the drama.

I dont think it is necessary to see the original before the sequel because it pretty much tells you what happened in the 1st one. But you might enjoy it more if you do see the original first.

Amazing acting, amazing fight scenes, ioan griffudd and kiera knightley - can you go wrong with such brilliant british actors as well as clive owen?

Favourite quote has to be when they're on the lake and Lancelot says to Guinevere - "There are a lot of lonely men out there... to which she replies - "don't worry, i won't let them rape you."

There is humour, action, history, brilliant acting and scenes that make you go aw! what can i say? i absolutely loved it and i'm seeing it for the sixth time tomorrow.

Little Giant- 8/10

The movie broke away from their set formula, gone were most of their trademark bits and them getting mixed up with gangster style storylines that lead to a very funny chase sequence. Lou was the main focus this time, while Bud had a supporting role (actually he played 3 small roles). The movie was somewhat disappointing since I expected it to be more like their previous movies but it's good they tried new things.

This one also keeps them apart more, it starts during the American Revolution and ends in the 50's. Lou plays a ghost and Bud again plays 2 roles. It's one of their better movies.

Finally, I was able to register again after being banned for a year under all my Highlander names, lol, I was Highlander (banned) Highlander 1 (banned) Highlander 2 (banned),etc. You have the pleasure of getting my first post in this awesome thread. Time to support all my favorite movies, and vote in those cool movie character polls, Darth Maul was robbed as best swordsman!!! Oh and for this thread, I saw League of Extraordinary Gentleman. I give it a 7/10, I didn't even understand that stupid story, and it had the most impossible things happening, "the whole shooting far distances thing and that whole stupid ending with Connery" Invisible Man was the coolest of the bunch, and the trailers made the movie look so cool but it was just blah. whos with me?
