License To Kill

'Tis one of the darker Bond outings with a vengeful 007 going AWOL to track down a drug dealer. The action is slick and Timothy Dalton makes a great Bond. The flick did suffer from some poor editing choices though but all in all, LTK should satisfy any Bond fan. 8/10

Films I've seen in the past couple of days:

Bad Boys 2 (7/10) - entertaining but pretty tedious in some places. Also, two and a half hours of Will Smith is abut two hours too much.

Frida (7.5/10) - Good film, but Salma Hayek with a unibrow...not especially pleasant.

21 GRAMS

http://us.ent4.yimg.com/movies.yahoo.com/images/hv/photo/movie_pix/focus/21_grams/_group_photos/naomi_watts8.jpg

This film tells the complex interconnected story how the lives of a former drug addict and mother, Cristina (Watts), a terminally ill mathematics professor, Paul (Penn), and a spiritual ex-convict, Jack (Del Toro) intersect both tragically and redemptively following a car accident.

21 GRAMS is a great movie about guilt, loss and redemption that employs an unusual non-linear structure that demands the viewer pays attention. Alejandro González Iñárritu was robbed of a Best Director nomination at the Oscars. In the hands of someone else, the movie could have fell apart at the seams. Luckily, Iñárritu is exceptionally talented and the multiple storylines get equal attention and the movie never gets too confusing as long as your paying attention.

Naomi Watts, Sean Penn and Benico Del Toro give absolutely amazing performances. Each performance is worthy of an infinite number of awards. The supporting cast is also solid...there's not a bad performance in the entire movie.

If you enjoy lighthearted movies and don't want to put some extra attention into what your watching then don't even bother with 21 GRAMS. However, if your more open minded 21 GRAMS is a brilliant, expertly acted, emotional and haunting portrait of how people come together and conversley grow apart in a time of tragedy. 9.5/10

Phone Booth: 5/10 It was meh. nothing really special here.

A bit of a letdown, but internally I know it's the kind of movie I'll see a second time and just love. Some good jokes, but the movie doesn't hit Coen velocity until the late middle, and even then the ending feels a little limp.

I was going to rank it a bit lower, but the spectecular finale made me raise my score. It was quite possibly one of the best endings I've ever seen on film. Lot's of real scares too.
The pacing was the problem. I hate bad pacing. But still,
A really enjoyable movie.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake...I give it a 5 out of 10, I really am not into those types of horror anymore, but I loved the part when she cut off Leatherface's arm , that got it the 5. Other than that, it isn't for me, a death every 10 minutes movie is not my thing.

(except zombie movies and thats only because the original dawn of the dead was my first and favorite horror movie)

9/10

Amazing Film, really captured the feel of what a semi-apocalyptic world should be like, The cast was suprisingly good and had some pretty good chemsitry between the lot of them. Maybe there were too many characters bu I only felt attached to a few of them..The zombies were incredible as I expected them to be.
Im glad I backed this film 100% since first hearing about it, and im very glad I was not disappointed by it.
