I've seen it like 10 times now but its sheer brilliance never wears off for me. De Palma is just a master with his camera moves and that final chase sequence is just SO good. Sean Penn gives what I think is his best performance, putting his recent work in Mystic River to shame, Al Pacino turns in one of his top 5 performances and of course there's Benny Blanco from the Bronx! Just a terrific movie.

Its basically completely different except for the zombies and the mall. I would have loved if they made it still take place in the 70s and it was the same characters, just some different things could happen so the movie doesn't become pointless.

I just finished watching State of Grace - 10/10

I have seen it once before maybe 5 or six years ago and I remember it being good but man, that is one hell of a good film. Oldman is just spectacular (has he ever given a bad performance:confused: ?) and Sean Penn shows why he got the oscar this year for career achievement. You know it's a special kind of movie when after only a couple lines of dialogue you are instantly pulled into these character's lives and you honestly care about them. This is a supremely underrated crime drama and if you're interested in the genre and haven't seen it I suggest you do. Peace.
