Super Smash Bros. is a great multiplayer game.

Metroid Prime is one of the best games to come out this past year for any system.

Jedi Outcast is definetly worth getting for the GameCube, plus with Jedi Knight III coming soon (expect christmas time release) for the GameCube, you can build up a collection of Star Wars games if you like that type of genre of game. There are plenty of good and different types of Star Wars games out at the moment and upcoming to suit fans needs.

Frankly I think all of these are a must buy for the Gamecube at the very least, if not for the PS2 if it's a multi-platform game.

I bought a Game Cube just so I could play Zelda. Time Splitters 2 is a great multi player game, the one player game is pretty good too, but I only play it with a group usually. It sells retail for $20, so its well worth the investment.

Metroid Prime, Resident Evil (unbeliveable athmosphere) and Phantasy Star Online are the most addictive ones and they'll definitely suck you into their world.

Wind Waker is not bad, but I hoped for more...

Mario Golf is supposed to be great, haven't played it yet but the reviews say it's a must play.

thats cool about the Rogue Squadron III. is there any update on the Super Mario Kart Double Dash or whatever its called? I can't wait to get WMXIX!! And Soul Calibur II which comes out wensday I believe. if you pre-ordered it it comes with a free SCII art book thing,
