Just a bit of data before we start:
The game has twelve players. They are:

Brock Landers as Josh Davis, Infantry Lieutenant
Citizen Kane as Colonel Harold Van Sant
dr_evil as John van Doe, Husband
Frizzo the Clown as SPC William “Static” Montgomery, Field and Emergency Communications Specialist
Knerys as Major Laren Sollie, Combat Engineer
Link as Private Michael “Bullet Tooth” McKirk, Soldier (Sniper Specialist)
LOTR Ring as Edward Sam Johnson, Mess Hall Chief Cook
pixiness as Captain Priscilla Pixel, Technology Specialist
Rogue as Lieutenant General (LTG) Marie Allison
sabin26 as A1C Justin Sane-Pararescue
smokiechimp as Resse McQueen, Covert Ops
southern as Lieutenant as Southern O’Hara

I assigned a card to each of you and randomly drew out of the deck. The deaths have already been chosen; your fate is pre-ordained. I did not cheat, every time I drew a card I would reshuffle the deck and randomly pick a new card.

In a short time, the beginning installment should be online. I just have to fix it up.

“It’s cold.” This was the primary thought going through Marie Allison’s head as she drove up to the Bravo Military Base in the outskirts of Lake Havasu, Arizona. She had received a letter from a Colonel Harold Van Sant about some type of special military unit, and had decided that she might as well investigate it. It sounded interesting, and besides, she needed something fun in her life.
Michael “Bullet Tooth” McKirk was placidly esconced in a second class seat on an airplane from Miami to Arizona. He had been watching the in-flight movie (Basic) and now they were showing some crappy television shows that had been bought cheap. Showing now was one of those Cold Case File Specials.
The narrator intoned: “He killed more men than Bundy. He was more cunning than Manson. Thomas McKirk was one of the most cunning serial killers of the new century. The people he murdered included: CC McBride, Allan Bergman, Charles Foster-”
McKirk ripped the headphones off, somewhat violently. He was sick and tired of hearing about his brother the serial killer, and being asked about if there were any “signs”, if Michael knew about Tommy’s plans. Right now Michael just wanted to think about arriving at Bravo.
Colonel Harold Van Sant sat in his office with his second-in-command, Captain Priscilla Pixel. Priscilla usually worked in technologies, but had volunteered to assist Van Sant in this little endeavor. She was conferring with the mess hall cook, Edward Sam Johnson. All of the arrivals were going to need some food.
Van Sant was working on some old paperwork that he’d neglected for the past few months. With nothing else to do, he figured it would be a fine time to finish it before his superiors got on his back.
Soon people began arriving in the jeeps. Priscilla and Van Sant watched as they were led to the mess hall, waiting for them all to arrive. One man, blonde haired and without a uniform, was not familiar. Van Sant walked out to the jeep to find out who he was.
“Hi, my name is John van Doe. My wife got sick, and I didn’t know how to call here so I came to tell you.”
Van Sant thought this idea utterly absurd. What man would journey out to the middle of nowhere just to deliver a small message like that?
“Well, you can, er, leave now.”
“Sir, maybe he would like to eat something. He must have traveled a long way.” Priscilla piped up.
Van Sant paused.
“Fine,” he grunted.
In good time, all of the cadets had arrived. Priscilla and Van Sant gathered them into a room with a large map, with Afghanistan circled.
All of the cadets filed in, and sat down in chairs that had been previously set out.
“Ladies and gentlemen, you have been gathered here for one reason, and one reason only. All of you are among the best in your fields, be it pararescue, stealth, or repair. As you know, we are planning a covert ambush of Osama bin Laden’s headquarters, and we need good soldiers to form an infantry unit for this reason. For the next few months, you will be trained to work efficiently as a team, and will be taught new skills and strategies. Are there any questions?
The cadets asked questions which were fielded by Van Sant and Priscilla. Southern O’Hara rose her hand.
“Where’s that Hammack guy?”
Everybody looked around. Indeed he was gone.
Van Sant paused. Where was he?

McKirk goes back to listening to the news about his Brother Tommy. And about the certain incident that caused the death of about fourteen people. And that Tommy was still alive, and hiding somewhere. He suspected that it was best to ignore it, and decided to think about other things in mind.

Colonel Van Sant and Captain Pixel briskly walked along in the cold moonlight. They were searching for Hammack.

PIXEL: Maybe he just bolted. He didn't look like the type for an operation like this anyway.
VAN SANT: No, he didn't leave. Mr. Hammack may not have been built for the military, but I doubt he would try to drive back at 9:00 PM in the middle of the desert.

Van Doe was discovered looking at one of the jeeps. He was examining with fascination.

VAN SANT: What are you doing?
HAMMACK: Well, it's just that-I work in the automobile industry. I design vehicles for military use. This is the Melville-84B. It's one of my designs.
VAN SANT: Is that so?
Van Doe: Yeah. I worked on it with a team of 2 other designers and several mechanics. We put it out about one year ago. By the way, you might want to replace these. We've put out a better model, the Melville-84C. Our new model cuts down on hydroplaning and allows for safer turns.

Static had a thing about food at midnight. He had heard the stories of people that got the munchies late into the night, but soon realized their inapplicability in terms of his crisis. Static had a bizarre cycle in terms of food. He could go through the whole, from after lunch throw 11:00 PM, without the slightest desire for food. And then, at 12:04 AM, always that time precisely, he began to long for food. It would start with a slight grumbling in his stomach. Soon he would begin to feel the emptiness of his bowels, and this emptiness caused a slight pain. Static was usually able to smuggle in food to his barracks to solve this problem, but he had been cleaned out long ago when he entered Bravo. Static figured that the mess hall was a bout 1/6th of a mile away. Not so long, he figured, but the journey would be much worse in the cold. Static pulled on his uniform, long socks, and his boots. He left his barracks, and journeyed to the mess hall.

He got there in around 5 seconds, at a steady pace. The lights were off, but Static had noticed a switch earlier. He slowly opened the door (which nevertheless made a loud crack when shut) and turned on the light. Immediately he was greeted with a bizarre image.
Around one of the tables the benches had been replaced with 11 chairs, with one in the center. There were nice platters at each of the seats, all covered. Accompanying each meal was a cup of wine, some of the reddest wine Static had ever seen. He also noticed that the floor was covered with water. A mop had been discarded in the corner, and was still moist from use. Why did the cook use a mop?
Static had forgotten his hunger by now. He was too unsettled. He decided it best to go the luxury barracks shared by Priscilla and Van Sant, and report it.
Static found the luxury barracks about 50 feet from the rest of the barracks. Inside were two queen sized beds, separated by a wall with a door. Each room had air conditioning, a lamp, and a radio. Static pounded on the door he assumed to be Van Sant's. It was actually Priscilla's, and she came to the door with disheveled hair and a bathrobe shielding herself from Static's horny eyes. He told her of the problem, and she alerted Van Sant. They both quickly dressed and took a Melville-84C to the mess hall.
They entered.

VAN SANT: Blood?

Static was creeped out. How did the colonel know what blood smelled like?

VAN SANT: I've smelled enough of the stuff during my stay in Kosovo.

Van Sant looked shaken. Static was worried; if Van Sant was frightened, than something awful must have happened.
The party of three cautiously walked up to a platter. Van Sant swiftly and suddenly pulled the top off of the platter. Priscilla screamed, Static looked away, Van Sant shuddered. It was a human heart, covered in blood.
The other platters were revealed, and they held the following items: a liver, one kidney, another kidney, an appendix, an eye, an ear, a tongue, part of an intestinal tract, a nose, and a small section of a frontal lobe.
Static noticed that most of the water was centered around the freezer, and with Van Sant's wordless encouragement opened it. There was a body covered in a plastic wrap, the features obscured. Upon removing the wrap, the body was discovered to belong to Edward Sam Johnson.

Allison: Well, it's a tragedy, that's for sure. I agree with you, Pixel. We must comb the area for clues and see if we can find anything that may give more information as to what transpired here. We'll need to have a briefing first thing in the morning. I'll alert the other officers of what happened while you and the others are here. Static, Pixel, we'll expect both of you to give detailed accounts of what happened when you found this..this..grotesque banquet. Pull yourselves together and prepare- it's going to be a hellacious few days for both of you.

Pixel: But Lt. General, you can't expect us to..

LTG Allison: Of course I do, Pixel. We all have to suck it up and go on. Clean yourselves up and prepare, that's an order.

Allison exits the room, her heels tapping smartly on the floor. She turns the corner before she vomits uncontrollably in the bushes.

Pixel: I heard that!

Allison grumbles and heads to the bathroom to wash her face.

McQueen awakes in his bunk to a light shining through the barracks window "For christ sake, My ****ing mother wouldn't even get me up this god damn early"

Slouching out of his bunk he goes to take a leak when noticing that the light coming through the grated window had an intermitant shadow passing to and throw through the bars. Further investigation into the disturbance of the man made yellow glow light pearcing through the dust particals found McQueen looking at figures moving about in the mess hall.

"God damn what the hell is everyone doing over there, can they not eat when everyone else does"

McQueen steps outside in his boots unlaced with no socks, his cargo shorts that just cover past his knees and his creased white shirt half buttoned up with the cuffs undone. Un-aware anything untuward had happened he calmy removes a half stubbed ciggarette from behind his ear and strikes a match from the corrigated steel wall of the barracks. "Another day of this **** and I'm going A.W.O.L. Christ if it wasn't for the money I'd be outta here right now!"

Standing alone in the brisk wind of this wet but mildly warm night a figure is spotted by McQueen sleeking accross the drill yard, startled Reese kicked off his boots and gave chase to see what the figure had been up to and why he was running but in an instant the shadow had melted into the dark dank wet night.

VAN SANT:

Ladies and gentlement, at 0100 hours the body of one Edward Sam Johnson was discovered in the...(Van Sant trembled very slightly. The movement was so insignificant that nobody noticed.) mess hall. We do not know who the killer was, and because of this you are all suspects. We will use the plane to leave Bravo, and you will all be taken to a base where you will be detained and questioned.

Pixel: Let's assemble everyone... I've got a print, but nothing to
match it to. I need to get prints from everyone here.

LTG Allison knocks on Pixel's door.

Allison: Pixel, have you found anything? All I got from Static was, well, static. That soldier has an attitude problem!

Pixel: I've found a set of prints and I need to print everyone to establish a suspect. Would you care to help?

Allison: It's a bit out of my field but I'll do what I can. Where should I start?

*Back at the Commo Shop, SPC Montgomery fires up the PC to begin his report*

"Hmmmmm...I have to do this right. Now, which form do you use for the "Notification of the Finding of an Evicerated Body in a Military Mess Hall"?

Well - you are a ranking officer - think you could assemble everyone? That'd be a good start.

*Static finishes his report (in triplicate) and heads to CPT. Pixels office. Briskly knocking on the door, he begins talking as soon as it opens..*

Static: "Ma'am, SPC Montgomery reporting with the......" *suddenly seeing LTG Allison through the doorway* ".....oh ****."

Pixel: Since you're here soldier, might as well tell you what's up

::she goes and sits on top of her desk, showing a bit of leg as she does::

Pixel: We've got ourselves a real sicky on this base

Static: WELL DUH! Sorry ma'am... you were saying?

Pixel: The thing is, a girl like me knows the girls are usually the first ones picked off in these little serial thrillers, so I want you to stick close to me.

:: gets off the desk and walks over to Static and looks straight into his eyes ::

Pixel: very VERY close - That's an ORDER!

:: static gulps ::

Static: Great - my girlfriend is gonna kick my ass for this! ;)

*while McQueen and Sane are talking and smoking, they see LTG Allison walking over to them*

Sane: Hey looks turn around so we don't have to salute this up tight officer.

McQueen: Sounds like a plan.

*As they start turning around LTG Allison tries to get their attention and a salute*

Allison: Excuse me, but do you really think you can get away with that?

Sane (saying while starting to grin): Just as long as your behind me. *putting the cigarette back in his mouth*

Van Sant woke up to the sound of the showers running. This was odd, because it was 2:00 AM. The sounds were coming from Priscilla's room. He stumbled in there. The light was on. Van Sant walked in and saw Priscilla laying on the ground in a puddle of water and blood from the crack in her skull. Water was everywhere, from the showers and the sinks. Someone must have turned on all of the water while she was gone, and waited for the inevitable. Van Sant muttered a long string of obscenities, now that his most trusted officer had gone. He went to inform the others of the tragedy.

*Considering the Captain's last orders to him, Static knew he'd be a suspect. He'd been ordered to stay close to her. Even though he was a superb RTO, he had always been very bad at following orders. It seems the Pixel's theory about being one of the first to go was right. Its a good thing for Montgomery that this was a horror movie, and not a War movie, or else he'd certianly had bit it by now.*

*Static suddenly realizes that the report he turned into CPT Pixel shortly before her orders to stay close could very well incriminate him. Afterall, it stated, for a fact, that he was the first troop to be in the Mess Hall immediately before the finding of Johnson's body. That, coupled with the fact that he may very well have been the last person to see Pixel alive (aside from her killer of course), he knew that he would be the prime suspect. Lucky for him, he hadn't told anyone about Pixels orders. Was it possible that she hadn't the opportunity to look over his report and pass it on to her surperiors? For his sake he hoped so. Perhaps he could sneak into her office later and attempt to recover the report, if it was still there, that is. Best to remain quiet about all this until he has some time alone*

Van Sant realized this too. The intercom blared with orders for Frizzo to report to Van Sant's office. Static knew he didn't have much of a chance, but even if he was surprised at how quickly he was punished. Static was locked in the food/supply cellar (the only real place to keep him contained) until military police could come. Didn't look like it would happen, though. The power was out because of a raging storm.

*Realizing that he wasn't as lucky as he had hoped, Montgomery found himself locked in the supply room. Static began to contemplate his fate. It was took dark to see properly. The short bursts of lighting peeking though the windows would only illuminate the room for a matter of seconds at a time. Luckily, the Colonel hadn't taken all of his possessions, so he pulled his Zippo out of his pocket, flicked the flint and set it ablaze. Static didn't smoke, but he always kept things like this around, just in case. Now that he could get a better look at his surroundings. Spying a case of MRE's in the far corner he mumbles to himself....*

"Well, at least I'm not gonna go hungry. Though, I'd have to be dying of starvation to eat one of those things."

*He tried the door. Bolted tight.*

"Well, unless he's down here already, or has a key to the cellar, theres no way the killer is getting into here."

*As morbid as it may sound, Static actually hoped that some other member of his unit would be slaughtered while he was under lock and key in the supply cellar. It wasn't for a lack of concern over their lives, it was more for a concern over his own. If someone else were to find themselves unceremoniously dead while he was still locked away, the Colonel would have to believe that he had nothing to do with the murders. Even if that were to happen, he knew that he'd still have a hard time convincing the LTG. She seemed like the type of woman whose mind was hard to change. Not to mention the fact that Static was sure that she didn't like him*

[LTG Allison turns digustedly to the soldiers]

Allison: I really do not care for you attidue nor your tone of voice. You may envision yourself a rebel, above the rules that we so religiously accept, but you are not. Do not anger me. You will show me respect and salute or I will have your asses thrown out of here so fast your tiny pea brains will spin in your empty heads. Is that understood?!

[Sane and McQueen shift uncomfortably under Allison's blazing eyes. The refuse to salute but stand up straight and look her in the eyes]

Allison: That's better than nothing. The next time I'm in your presence I want a salute and I want you to show me respect. Is that understood, soldiers?

McQueen and Sane: Yes, ma'am.

Allison: Make yourselves useful and round up the rest of the scourge like you on this page. Everyone needs to be assembled for a briefing. Another tradegy has transpired and the base must be informed of new rules and regulations. We must see to Pixel as well. You two are dismissed.

[McQueen and Sane walk away grumbling at Allison's staunch attitude]

Allison: [under her breath] You'd think after all the hell I've been through I'd get some respect around here, even if this goddamn base if full of reactionary, egotistical men.

[Allison walks away grumbling about the confrontation]

McQueen: Well Sane and I are getting pissed off being ordered around by these friggin power frenzied women who would suit better in Hitlers 'SS' only without the tight pvc uniforms.....ahh you know Pixel and Allison would look verrrry nice in.....

McKirk: *Ahem*

McQueen:Yea so anyway's me and Sane start a fight in the court yard and you can come in and break it up, sound good?

McKirk: but whats in it for you two?

McQueen: Well I don't know about you but we are fed up being led around in this Mickey Mouse outfit, we want out and if we are caught fighting (Supposedly) which is why we want you to split it up before we do hurt each other, we will be hopefully transfered and outta this joint!

McKirk: Naa sounds stupid. I'll pass thanks!

McQueen: You'll do it or I'll ****ing kill you!!! you candyass punk!

McKirk: Ok, Ok

McQueen: Tomorrow, 7pm, court yard, be there!

It had been 24 hours since Static had last made any sounds inside the little food cellar of his, and he hadn't accepted the last meal. Col. Van Sant had been busy with trying to figure out how to survive the storm, but McKirk, himself connected to a string of horrific murders, was curious about why Static hadn't done anything. Had he escaped? Was it a ruse? Or had something worse happened?

It was 12:30 AM when McKirk decided to go to the food cellar and investigate for himself. An expert lock picker, he knew he would have no problem getting into the door. Immediately McKirk could feel that there was substantial weight against the door. Was Static sleeping? Using a pin, McKirk tinkered with the lock until there was a click and it fell open. The door instantaneously fell open, the weight of Static's body pushing it. McKirk observed the corpse, oddly dispassionate. It looked about 24 hours decomposed, and there was vomit all around. All of the bottles of wine were open and empty. McKirk saw it this way: either the wine had been poisoned, or someone had forced Static to drink himself to death and left the body. But who would know how to break into a food cellar so professionally, not even leaving a trace of interference?
