Another World

[Kitty]

Four in the morning.

The quiet city of CareSalot rested (as so did its inhabitants) as time slowly went by. A Saturday morning, half of the people in this town planning on sleeping in, seeing that the weekend has already come upon them.

One little house in peticular is where our story starts. Here we find a girl, around her late teens, tossing and turning in her sleep. Southern encounters once again one of the many recurring nightmares that have haunted her in her sleep for the past couple of months. She does not know why she always has them but she feels like they are trying to give her a sign, perhaps, tell her about the future...


~~Southern walked around the large room, painted with a light shade of lavendar. Fog started seeping into the room as she looks around in fear, knowing what she's about to encounter.

A door opens. Southern turns around to be covered in a dark red light as something makes it's way in. Southern covers her eyes and opens them a second later to see the creature.

The creature picks her up by it's hands and gives an ear-splitting roar at her. She screams, struggling to get free from the creature's grasp, but it's no use. The creature tears away at her skin as she screams once more, knowing that no one is listening. As she slowly tries to make eye contact with the moster, she wakes up.~~

Southern breathes heavily as she adjustes her eyes to the real world.

Seven in the morning.

Southern wipes the sweat from her face with her arm. She smoothes out her hair as she recalls the dream in her mind again. No, it was no dream, it was a nightmare once again.

Southern: It feels so real though...

Southern touches her arms and legs lightly, trying to make sure that the dream wasn't real adn that the scratches weren't really there. She was right, they weren't there. As she takes a deep breath she looks around her room.

The room is painted in a dark shade of blue, so are her blankets and the rest of her furniture. It's got a sort of 70's tone to it by the texture and all of the furinture. Southern gets up and looks at herself in the mirror. She pulls down her blue shorts and her green shirt that were rolled up in a sense.

The phone rings. Southern looks to the desk near her bed at her phone. She walks over and picks up the phone. She says softly...

Southern: Hello?

Beast: Hey, sorry to call you so early but are you on for hanging out later on today?

Southern: (pushes some hair out of her eyes) Oh yeah, of course I am, don't worry about it.

Beast: Alright then. You okay there Southern? You haven't had those nightmares recently have you?

Southern: Oh no, everything's perfectly fine. I'll see you later, bye.

Southern hangs up the phone and puts it in the receiver as she thinks about what she just said to Beast. She isn't fine actually, she just lied to one of her good friends. The nightmares have gotten worse this past month, she thought as she opened her closet. She gasped as she found...

[Kitty]

She gasped as she found her sister, Kitty, only fifteen, getting out of her closet. Southern jumped back suprised for a second that she was in there. Kitty turned around to see Southern and waved at her. Kitty then said...

Kitty: Hola. What's wrong with you? Didn't you hear me go into your closet?

Southern: (stands up straight) No, no I didn't. Now get out.

Kitty: Well you see, I want to look my best for later on.

Southern: (looks at Kitty suspciously) Why is that?

Kitty: Oh no reason.

Kitty grabs a shirt out of Southern's closet and walks out of the room. Southern shakes her head as she looks into her closet to find herself some clothes to wear, not knowing what events will take place later on in that day.

Ten in the morning.

Southern walks downstairs with a red sleeveless shirt on and dark blue jeans. Her light brown hair is pulled back in a ponytail that sways around in the wind. Southern heads to the refrigerator in the kitchen. She looked around and found what she was looking for. She took the apple from the basket and took a bite out of it, wondering why her parents decided on keeping the kitchen in white.

Kitty: Southern, you ready?!

Southern jumped back as she swallowed another piece of the apple she bit off as Kitty walks into the room. Kitty flicks back her short black hair as she taps her foot on the floor. She sighs as she stomped up in front of her sister, wearing a white and beautifully decorated long sleeved shirt with blue jeans. Kitty looked up at Southern (who was taller than her by an inch or two) and said...

Kitty: C'mon Southern, there here.

Southern nodded as she put her apple down on the kitchen counter. She walked out of the door with Kitty to Beast's car and got in. As Southern closed the side window she looked up at her house and for a split second she saw her house completely covered in weeds in a forest. She blinked and then her house was back to normal.

Southern shook her friend smokiechimp's shoulder and said...

Southern: Didn't you see that there smokie? There for a second, didn't you see it?

Smokiechimp: (looks around) See what?

Southern sighed as she lied back in her chair, looking up at the top of the car as they drove off to the movies.

(alright so the story is to a slow start but its gonna get better, don't worry)

Southern, Beast, Kitty and Smokiechimp got out of the car as they parked nearby the AMC 20. As Southern got out of the car, a cold breeze passed her as if leading her towards the movie theater. Southern payed no attention to it as she caught up in the usual jibber-jabber that Beast, Kitty and Smokiechimp were in.

A couple of minutes later after buying the tickets to a movie, they went in. The inside of the movie theater felt a lot warmer compared to outside. Kitty was the first to notice the rest of their friends that they were to meet up with in the movie theater.

Godzilla (or as the others have nicknamed him "Zilla man") was the first to give Kitty a hug. Kitty messed up Zilla Man's slicked back black hair a little bit as she walked right next to him to give another greeting to the rest of their friends.

Beast: Never fails that you wear a different shade of green everytime Zilla Man.

Zilla Man: You have a problem with the clothing? Is this yours? No it isn't so keep your mouth shut Beast.

Zilla Man patted Beast in the back and started a conversation with him on the movie. Meanwhile Southern and Kitty greeted the rest of their friends.

There was Rogue, dressed in her normal black tanktop, skirt, nylons and long black boots (all complete with a nice black trenchcoat). She pushed back her long dark brown hair (with a white streakin the front) as she waved at Kitty and Southern.

Also there was Frizzo. He was the normal goofy-looking redhead. He gave Kitty and Southern a big bear hug as soon as he saw the two coming his way. Wearing the normal blue jeans with a black shirt with the quote," Your village called, their idiot is missing" he, in a sense, blended in with the crowd. Everyone chattered with everyone else as they headed to watch the movie.

1 in the afternoon.

Southern and the others walked out of the movie theater. Southern felt an odd feeling of cleansing of her lungs as she breathed in the fresh cool air. The weather was still cloudy and a couple of drops of rain started to trickle down onto the earth.

Southern: Ah I love the smell of rain.

Frizzo: Really? Well I love the wonderful smell of my armpits. Here, want to take a whiff?

Southern: (Covers her face) No thank you, I've heard enough horror stories about those things a plenty of times.

Rogue: Of course because she heard it from me. (Rogue takes out a cigarette and lights it)

Smokiechimp: And I'm sure plenty of other people like that smell too.

Rogue: Oh hush up, that is unless you want to get a burn from this on your privates.

Smokiechimp: Don't worry I didn't say anything.

As Smokiechimp, Frizzo and Rogue talked some more Southern stopped in her tracks. She heard a faint buzzing sound, not from a cell phone but from somewhere else. Southern looked around, at the same time pondering if she's lost her mind at the moment, seeing that this occured in some of her dreams throughout the past couple of months.

Southern felt like she had to run back, run back to the movie theater. She looked at the others and then back at the movie theater. Suddenly, she sprinted. She didn't know why she was acting so weird suddenly but she had to find out what the thing is.

Beast turned around and tapped Kitty on the shoulder. He pointed at Southern who was sprinting, not covering herself as the rain started to come down upon the silent parking lot. As Kitty took out her umbrella, she started running off after Southern.

Southern reached the front of the movie theater. Drenched now since the rain was really pouring over the AMC 20, she stepped up on the stairs to get to the enterance, listening very closely for the buzzing sound that was so loud now. She looked around to her sides, suprised that no one else noticed this sound.

It became so loud though that Southern could not take it. She fell to her knees at the top of the stairs, covering her ears from the sound. It reminded her of the sound that the monster made, but it wasn't. Before she passed out, she heard someone calling out her name, very faintly, a voice of a person older than she, someone so familiar...

Southern's eyes went to the back of her head as she passed out on the floor. Kitty, shocked, ran up the stairs to Southern's side, Beast not too far behind them. Kitty said...

Kitty: Southern! Southern, sis, are you alright? (Checks her pulse)

Beast: (runs up next to Kitty) What happened to her?

Kitty: I don't know...C'mon, let's get her up from here.

Beast: Alright then.

Beast and Kitty threw their umbrellas to the side as the picked up Southern and lied her down on the closest bench. People stared at the three as they walked by. The rain poured down on the AMC 20, the sky so cloudy that it made the city of CareSalot look like it was covered in a dark blanket.

Southern woke up a few minutes later. She looked around her as she rubbed her head. She was lying down on a bench near the enterance of the AMC 20. Southern rubbed her head as she saw Kitty and Beast sitting right next to her on another bench. Kitty hugged Southern real tight as soon as she looked at her. Southern gasped for air and Kitty let go of her immediately. Southern then said...

Southern: What the...what happened?

Kitty: That's what we were about to ask you sis. What made you act so funny?

Beast: Yeah, are you alright? We should bring you home. Besides, we don't want you to catch a cold or anything.

Southern smiled gently and rubbed her head again. Then she remembered. The noise. The enterance. The dreams. Southern lied back down on the bench as Beast said...

Beast: You know I don't know what happened with Smokie and the others. They didn't notice that we were gone. I saw them go out of the parking lot the other way.

Kitty: Really? That's odd of them. They should've at least looked behind them to see what was going on.

Beast and Kitty pondered as Southern shut her eyes tight. She took out the rubberband from her hair and let it lie on the bench. Southern felt like there was somewhere she needed to go, it was so nearby, but she didn't know where exactly. It was like there was a voice, a familiar voice calling her. Southern shook off the train of thought she had and sat up right. She turned to Beast and Kitty and said...

Southern: Let's go home.


2 in the afternoon.


There's an old abandoned store in a plaza nearby Southern's house. There in the darkness we hear two familar voices conversing with one another.

Rogue: Where is she?

Smokiechimp: She's at her home with Kitty.

Rogue: And Beast?

Smokiechimp: He's elsewhere.

Rogue: Good. Let's go in.

Meanwhile back at Southern's house Southern is lying down on the couch in the family room. The main color of this room is green seeing that the furiture is green, as the carpet and the walls. But Southern and Kitty didn't care about the colors, their parents choose it.

Southern flipped through the channels on the television while Kitty is sitting in a chair looking outside at the rain and watching the cars pass by.

Southern looked up at Kitty and said...

Southern: Did you happen to hear something when I was running towards the enterance of the movie theater by any chance?

Kitty: Nope.

Southern then turned off the television and got up. Nothing good was on and it wasn't getting her mind off of how strange she acted earlier that afternoon. Southern stretched and walked over to Kitty. She sat down and sat in silence with her sister, looking outside.

Suddenly from out of nowhere someone crashed through the huge window that lead into the living room (where Kitty and Southern were at). They both screamed and ducked down as five people went through there. The people were dressed in blue, faces covered by the long hoods that they were wearing. Two of them lifted up both of the girls and gave them injections in their arms. Kitty passed out first and then soon after Southern's eyes went to the back of her head and everything went black...

[Kitty]

Southern woke up but kept her eyes closed. She leaned her head to the side a little bit, her fingers feeling the surface of what she was lying on, but it didn't feel familiar. Southern opened her eyes and looked around. She was in a cold gray room, only one door, no windows, just four walls and two tables with chains connected to them. She was on one of those tables and tried to get the chains off of her feet and wrists but it was no use. She looked to her side and saw Kitty, still passed out, not knowing what happened to her and her sister. Southern stood up the most that she could and looked around.

Suddenly, the door opened. Southern lied back down and closed her eyes, pretending that she was uncocious. She heard five pairs of feet walk in.

Rogue: Here they are. There still not up yet either.

Frizzo: You gave them too much my dear.

Smokiechimp: It was the only way to get them here.

Zilla Man: But why did we have to do it that way?

Frizzo: If we had told her earlier she wouldn't have followed us. This is the only way to get her to our world.

Zilla Man: Yes you are right about that, but what about the other girl and her friend?

Smokiechimp: We already dealt with her friend. He's in the other room, ready to go through the vortex. As for the sister, she's going to be the bait. Were going to send her in first, can someone give me a hand here?

Southern wasn't quite comprehending this. A vortex? Sending Kitty through there first as...bait? And even worse of all, those voices were the voices of her friends who abandoned her, Kitty and Beast earlier. Beast...oh no, thought Southern. Beast, they must've gotten to him also...

Southern could hear the crackling of chains being unlocked as Smokiechimp and Frizzo took Kitty out of the room. All who remained in there was Rogue, Zilla Man, and Southern.

Zilla Man: So what shall we do now?

Rogue: We'll wait to--

Suddenly Rogue was cut off by Southern. Southern bloted up as far as she could from the cold gray steel table and said to the two.

Southern: What are you doing? Let us go! I heard you all, LET US GO!

Southern pulled on the chains with all of her strenght but couldn't free herself. A tear ran down her cheek as she kept trying, meanwhile Zilla Man and Rogue went to the sides of the steel table Southern was in.

Rogue: Do not make yourself weak dear. (takes out needle)

Zilla Man: This is for the best.

Zilla Man held down Southern as Rogue took off her hood, revealing herself, and injected the liquid into Southern's arm. Southern's strenght soon weakened as she fell into the darkness again.

[Kitty]

~~Southern walks around the dark room, her hands trying to feel a wall, a table, anything. She squinted her eyes and tried looking to see if there was any light anywhere in this room. There was none. Scared, Southern sat on the floor, crossing her arms, and covering herself up more with a jacket she had on. A cold breeze blew by and then Southern saw a little light at the ceiling.

Southern got up and ran towards it, wanting to get out of this place. Suddenly something from the darkness grabbed her and pulled her down, down into the darkness. Southern struggled to get free from the thing's grasp but she couldn't. Slowly Southern started to sink lower and lower, the light fading away. And then she woke...~~

Kitty: (whispering) Southern! Southern wake up, please!

Southern opened her eyes and looked up. Kitty was holding her by the shoulders, tears in her eyes. Kitty, noticing right away that Southern was awake, hugged her. Kitty said in a scared tone of voice...

Kitty: (whispering still) Southern, there going to, um, look...

Kitty pointed behind her, lifting Southern up a little bit to get a good look. They were in a room with black walls, no windows, and one strong light lighting up the whole room. Southern saw Rogue, Zilla Man, Frizzo, and Smokiechimp, still dressed in blue, their hoods over their heads. There was a fifth person in between them. The person pressed a button on a labtop and then Southern saw something that shocked her.

It was a door, painted in white, connected to about five steps or so. There was a control pannel next to it. When the person pressed that button a white light, a bright light, was seen coming out from the cracks in a door. This wasn't anything ordinary. This was the vortex they were talking about!

Southern pulled Kitty up, and said to her...

Southern: We've got to get out of here...wait...where's Beast?

Kitty looked at her, paler than ever. With a shaky finger she pointed near the control pannel. There, lying near the vortex door was Beast. He was still unconcious, and it seemed like he was bleeding from the arm. He had a cloth placed around there.

Southern looked around to see if there was some sort of way to get him. But they couldn't. A second later, Rogue pointed her finger to Beast. Frizzo and Smokiechimp walked over to him and grabbed hold of his arms. Frizzo grabbed onto the wound of his, tight enough to make Beast wake up from all of the pain.

Southern gasped as Zilla Man walked in front of Beast and said something to him. Beast nodded his head and got up without any struggle with Frizzo and Smokiechimp. Beast walked up the stairs to the front of the door. Beast turned around and looked at the fifth person. The fifth person nodded their head and Beast turned back around to face the white door. Beast opened the door, covering the room in a bright white light. Before he closed the door Kitty said...

Kitty: Beast, NO!

As soon as Beast closed the door all five of the people turned around to see Kitty and Southern. Kitty covered her mouth as all five of them walked towards them. Kitty, scared cowered behind Southern. Southern put her fists up in front of her to protect Kitty. She said...

Southern: Leave us alone, and bring Beast back!

Rogue: That isn't possible.

Frizzo: You both must go in there too.

Smokiechimp: Its all for the better of this world and the other.

Zilla Man: You must save them all...

JBond: Or else.

Rogue, Zilla Man, Frizzo and Smokiechimp walked back a couple of steps from JBond. Zilla Man whispered to Rogue...

Zilla Man: He's never spoke to anyone outside of the group before.

Rogue: Wow, this really must be the real deal.

All four of them watched JBond walk over in front of Southern and Kitty. JBond extended his hands and lowered Southern's fists. He said in a calm voice...

JBond: On the other side is your destiny you two. Do not be scared of us, you were brought here to help us. Everything will be explained to you as soon as you go through the door. (JBond moves his arm to be leading towards the door)

Southern: I don't know...

Kitty: Leave us alone! Just bring back Beast and let us leave please!

JBond: (Looks at Kitty and gently grabs her wrist) My child, there is nothing to fear. (Brings Kitty out from behind Southern) Your here for a reason. Go now, go in there, that's the only way to retrieve your friend, Beast.

Southern: What?! Are you crazy?! We don't even know what's behind that door other than light!

JBond: Calm down. You DO know what's behind there. You've known it for months, in your dreams.

Southern looked at JBond with a stern look. She then pushed JBond's hand from Kitty and took her to the front of the door. She turned around to face the five and said...

Southern: Well if your not going to really help us too much, were going in. C'mon Kitty.

Southern opened the door. She shielded her eyes (as did Kitty) and they both walked into the other world...

They walked, their eyes closed shut as the light was too much for them. Kitty stayed close to Southern, holding tight on her arm, shaking at the same time. Southern took about six steps forward, hearing a door close behind them, then suddenly they fell.

Southern and Kitty screamed, opening their eyes, falling down a blue tunnel. It took about a few seconds when they landed on soft dirt. Kitty and Southern got up and looked around them at their surroundings.

It seemed like a barren wasteland. There wasn't anything really to see for miles. It was even worse because there was a strange fog that's settled around the area. Kitty shivered with fright and held onto Southern's arm again and said...

Kitty: Where are we sister?

Southern: I don't know.

Kitty: (scared) Southern, all I want to do is find Beast, and get back home!

Kitty buried her face in Southern's arm. Southern patted Kitty on the back. Poor sis, she thought to herself. Wish she wasn't such a fraidy cat, but at least I'm here to be with her or else she wouldnt' survive a second out here.

Southern lifted Kitty's head gently from her arm and pointed out in front of them. She then said...

Southern: Kitty, the only way were going to do that is if we go on out right now. So let's go, now follow me.

So Southern and Kitty walked out into the fog, not knowing what their destination is, not knowing who's out there, but just want to get their friend back and go home. But so you see, what they think is home might actually not be...

[Kitty]

Southern and Kitty, minutes later, made it out of the thick strange fog and into a beautiful dark green grassy field. The sun finally was visible now that they were out of the other area. Kitty, relieved that they were out of the supposed "worse of it" let go of Southern's arm and stretched her arms like nothing happened, as if she woke up from a refreshing nap.

Southern, suspicious of the sudden change of landscape, turned to Kitty and said...

Southern: Don't move Kitty.

Kitty: Why not? There's nothing to fear.

Kitty made a face at Southern and walked ahead of her. Southern, wanting to stop her for some strange reason, did not grab her and pull her away from the grass. When Kitty walked onto the grass she gave Southern a raspberry and lied down on the grass, looking up at the clear sky. Kitty stretched on the soft grass and let her fingers run through it. She pulled out a couple of pieces of grass and looked at them with squinted eyes. They seemed to have some funny substance on the end of them. Kitty took a closer look and screamed. It was blood, a deep dark red blood. She got up and patted the ground around her as the ground began to rise.

Southern stood back and looked up at Kitty and gasped at what she saw. A monster, about two two-story houses tall, stood up on its hind legs. The monster blended in with it's grassy hair, a dark shade of green. It eyes, bloodshot, stared coldy at Southern. It breathed heavily from it's huge mouth that covered most of the body (seeing that there was either no nose or no nose visible for them to see). Kitty screamed as she tried to get off of the monster's head, but was picked up by one of the monster's long arms. Its claws dug deep into Kitty's arms as it faced her in front of it.

Southern looked around her to see if she could make some weapon really fast in order to save Kitty, but she saw none. She felt this power, this power that was coming from her feeling so angry but because of her distraction was not too aware of it.

So Southern screamed and jumped up where Kitty was. She flew and peeled the monster's claws out of Kitty and picked her up, gently flying her down to the ground without being harmed by the monster.

Southern then looked up at the monster and flew towards it. Figuring out what she could do she flew on top of the monsters head and started picking out all of the monsters hairs. That not working seeing how the monster was annoyed by Southern and began throwing its hands above it's head trying to get Southern. It succeeded when Southern was cut in the leg, falling to the floor.

Southern stood up, enraged, and shouted...

Southern: Your not going to get in the way from me saving my friend!

Southern then stood up with the little bit of strenght she had left. Looking up at the monster in the eyes she shouted an incantation from some ancient language. She cupped her hands together and threw a huge beam of light at the monster, knocking it out immediately.

Kitty stood up after she saw this, her hands cupped over her mouth in shock after what her sister has done. She looked over at Southern, and saw what just happened to her. As soon as the monster fell so did she onto the floor.

Kitty ran next to her sister and lifted her up gently. She shook her a little bit, scared of what happened to her sister. She looked at her and said...

Kitty: Southern, Southern! Wake up please!

Southern's eyes fluttered a little bit as she arrived back into the concious world. She looked around her and looked up at her sister. She smiled gently and said...

Southern: I guess this is what the others meant by us going here for a reason, huh?

[evilsquishy]

*cough* still missing someone, I wonder who it is?*cough*

[Kitty]

Kitty lifted up Southern, letting her put her weight on Kitty to walk along.

So they walked away from the carnage of the monster, but there was still more to come yet they did not know it yet. The sun shined softly on the beautiful thick trees. It seemed to Kitty and Southern that they were walking around this new forest for hours when suddenly Southern saw something. Regaining her full strenght she walked ahead of Kitty, hoping that they were at least a little bit close to getting Beast back and getting out of this strange place.

Southern looked at the building and gasped. It was an exact replica of her house except it was covered completely in vines. Southern shook her head and turned around to look at Kitty. Southern then said...

Southern: This is the vision I had earlier today, right before we left for the movies.

Kitty: Wow...our house is crappy looking. It gives off an eerie vibe too...

Kitty, after saying that, hid behind Southern, still looking up at their supposed house. Southern took the lead and walked up to the front door, meanwhile trying to not get her ankles tangled up in the vines as did Kitty.

Southern made it to the front door. She turned the doorknob that was completely covered in rust and opened it. Southern peeked inside while Kitty was still very close behind her, scared.

Southern: Hello? Anyone here?

Southern looked around inside the house. It was completely empty. It looked like someone was trying to start putting furniture in but forgot to finish it up. There were a couple of chairs in the whole downstairs area and that was it. The walls were all painted green, a pine green.

Southern walked inside of the house, looking around to see if anyone else dwelled inside of there. Kitty held tightly onto the back of Southern's red shirt as they made their way through the kitchen.

A few minutes later they finished exploring around the whole house. There seemed to be no sign of anyone living in there. Kitty sighed with relief, knowing that they were in a sense safe for now, but a thought came up in her mind.

Kitty: Southern...when we do get Beast back, how will we get home? We came in through the vortex door thing, remember?

Southern: Yes, I know. But let's not worry about that right now, okay?

Kitty nodded her head. Southern turned around and jumped back in shock. There was a strange young man standing right next to her. He had messy dirty blonde hair, and baggy grey clothes on and a trenchcoat too. He seemed to have dirt on his face. He reached out his hand at Southern and said...

PG: I am sorrry m'lady, I did not mean you any harm.

Southern grabbed his hand and got up from the floor. She looked at him and said...

Southern: Who ar---

PG: I am here because I must help you get on the right path. I am a psychic and I can read your minds and do all sorts of other things. But that does not matter, what matters is for you to accomplish your mission.

Kitty: Yeah, we know what our mission is, to get Beast back and go home!

PG: Calm down little one. You have much to learn as your sister does. First off you two must learn why your here, as your friend too. You three are here because you must save these two worlds from destruction.

Southern: I don't understand this, why us, and why are they going to be destroyed?

PG: Because you three possess the power to destroy the evil. We have never seen the evil but those who have have never lived to tell the tale. You three must go to the evil and defeat it.

Kitty: Great...it's like were in an RPG...

Southern: Quiet kitten!

PG: Yes, in a sense it is just like an RPG, but this is real. Your here, I'm here, and this mission is real. You are our only hope. We have taken people before, like the five that you encountered when you entered the vortex, but they too had failed. They even sent me to defeat it but I too did not succeed. You possess an even greater gift than all of us. You two and Beast must use it to save these worlds from destruction.

Southern: Well that explains some...

PG: Before you two go though, I must give you these...

PG then took out something from inside his trenchcoat. It was covered in a beautiful red satin cloth. When he opened it there was two necklaces, one with red rubies all around it and one with purple amethysts all around it. Southern took the red ruby necklace and Kitty took the purple amethyst necklace. PG then said...

PG: Use these gifts well...

Southern: Wait...how do we...

PG then vanished out of site, leaving Kitty and Southern in the green kitchen together with some very pretty necklaces, not knowing what to do next...

Southern examined the necklace, wondering if there was some sort of reason for PG giving this to them. As Southern was looking at the stones to see if they were real, Kitty already had put on her necklace and was wandering around outside.

She looked behind a few trees in this pretty green forest saying at the same time...

Kitty: Beast! Beast, where are you?

Southern, hearing her sister shout outside, walked out of the vine-covered house and to Kitty.

Kitty: Beast, where ar--

Kitty was stopped by Southern. Southern had covered Kitty's mouth and put her finger near her mouth and said...

Southern: Ssshhhh. (whispers) Do you want another monster looking for us?!

Kitty: (whispers) No...sorry...I just want to go home...

Southern: Kitten, don't worry. We'll get him and get back home.

Southern gave Kitty a hug as a cool breeze blew past them. The breeze started to pick up, going faster and faster by the seconds. In about a minute the wind was about to blow them away. Southern stopped hugging Kitty and held onto her hand, her other hand holding onto a tree branch from a tree nearby.

Southern: Where did this wind come from?! Kitty, what did you do?!

Kitty: I didn't do anything sis! Aaaaahhhhhhhh!

Southern and Kitty screamed as the wind cracked the tree branch because of Southern and Kitty's weight. Southern and Kitty were blown away from near the vine-covered replica of their house and into a cage. The steel caged locked as soon as they were both in there. Kitty, panic-stricken started banging on the cage trying to get both her and Southern out. Southern meanwhile looked at the cage and around to see if there was anyone nearby.

Southern saw a woman wearing a beautiful shiny dark red dress that reached down to her feet. Her dress flowed in the wind, as did her beautiful silky dirty blonde hair that reached down to her elbows. The woman, unaffected by the high winds that very soon flipped over the cage, stopped when the woman extended her hand out in the opposite direction the wind blew.

The woman walked up right next to the cage and lifted it back to the right side without any sign of struggle from the weight. Then she looked at Southern and Kitty, right in the eyes, and immediately things blacked out for the two because they suddenly became unconcious...

Southern and Kitty woke up, both of them bumping their heads against the top of the steel cage. The looked around and found themselves locked up in a wagon. They looked around and saw that they were in a town that they've never been to before of course. The towns people did not look happy and cheerful but sad and pale. Southern and Kitty looked at each other, wondering if this town has been put under a strange spell that wasn't too similar as to the sleeping beauty story.

They tried looking for a bobby pin or something to unlock the cage but it was no use, there was nothing to help free them. Southern then got an idea. She got the necklace from her pocket and put it up against the lock. She then said...

Southern: Open sesame lock!

Silence. The lock nor the necklace budged. Southern, getting a little bit upset then said...

Southern: Open! Abierto!

Still the lock did not open. Southern sighed, her hand still holding onto the necklace next to the lock as she said to Kitty...

Southern: Well this is great. I'm sorry little sister but we'll have to try to find another way to...

But then Southern heard a hissing sound. She looked at the necklace and noticed that the lock was melting. As soon as it fully melted Southern took the necklace away from the cage and put it around her neck. She kicked open the door and helped Kitty out.

They looked around, the wagon going slower than usual, the lady not paying attention to what just happened, going along on her merry way. Southern and Kitty looked at each other and jumped out of the wagon. But you see, they didn't get out of the wagon because as soon as they jumped they both hit a wall barrier covering the whole wagon. They both fell to the floor, rubbing their heads.

Kitty got scared and went up to where the lady was. Before Southern could stop her Kitty shook the lady's shoulders and said...

Kitty: Lady, listen to me! LET US OUT OF HERE!

The lady stopped the horse that was helping the wagon move along and turned around. She looked at Kitty with her cold grey eyes and said...

EmeliaSq: Hush mortal!

Emelia Sq then lifted her hand up and sent Kitty flying, making her hit the barrier wall on the other end of the wagon again with her back. She slowly fell down to the floor as Southern got to her side. Southern looked up at Emelia Sq and said...

Southern: Why are you doing this and why in the heck did you hurt my sister?!

Emelia Sq: I suggest that if you want to help your other friend that you two shut your mouths until we get to the castle.

Emelia Sq then turned back around and got the horse to start pulling the wagon again. Kitty sat up, leaning against Southern, both of them worried of what could happen to them when they get to the castle...

About fifteen minutes later the three of them arrived at the castle. Southern and Kitty were lying down, waiting for them to arrive at their new destination. When the horse made an abrupt stop Southern shook Kitty and the both of them got up.

They both laid eyes on the castle that was only about two stories tall but was just a typical castle that you saw in the movies: plain, and gray.

Southern and Kitty were finally able to get out of the wagon and walk up to the front of the castle. The sky turned cloudy as Emelia Sq shoved Southern and Kitty inside the cold castle.

Kitty shivered as soon as she got in and walked close to Southern. As she did she got pushed back twenty feet into the wall with the power Emelia Sq had. She walked ahead of Southern who was in shock and looked down at Kitty. She said...

Emelia Sq: Keep away from each other. It's for your own good.

Emelia Sq glanced coldy at Kitty and turned away from her, signaling Southern, scared and upset as she was, to follow her to the other room.

Southern thought immediately that looks on the outside did not compare at all to the elegant ballroom that they just stepped into, covered in different shades of red. Emelia Sq pulled up a chair, with the swish of her hand. She sat down and flattened out her dress, looking at Southern and Kitty with her cold gray eyes.

She lifted up her right hand in front of the two. With this simple gesture they lifted up into mid air. Emelia Sq started closing her fist as the two were being crushed by an invisible force.

Kitty screamed out of pure pain as Southern held it in, trying to find out what to do in order to stop her. Then she thought of her necklace. She broke away a little bit from Emelia Sq, still floating in mid air, but got her necklace and tried pointing it at her. Southern closed her eyes and said in a whisper to herself...

Southern: Work darn you!

Southern's necklace sent a huge red beam of light, covering the whole room. Kitty and Southern landed softly onto the ground as Emelia Sq was pushed out of her chair, hitting the ground with a loud and echoing thud. Emelia Sq got up and flattened her skirt, her face emotionless, her eyebrows raised in a sense as if she had just won. She walked up towards Southern and Kitty, who both put their fists up and she said...

Emelia Sq: You have passed the test. Good job Southern, although I expected a little bit of a fight from Kitty. Dear child, you let me throw you around as if you were a rag doll. Please, sit down you two.

Emelia Sq brought two chairs come behind the two with the swish of her hand. Southern and Kitty sat down as Emelia Sq paced herself back and forth in front of them. She stopped and looked at the two and said...

Emelia Sq: You know those are your instruments of power. They hold all the power you have. Southern has been able to use it, Southern, you should teach Kitty a couple of things. It must not be too much fun being the damsel in distress ever since you got here.
Your mission you both know, but you two must be thinking, why us, why did they choose us? Well my child, it's quite simple. Only few have recognized things like you have. Like your dreams. Southern, did you think you were the only one who have had those. No, you did not.
Beast has traveled off to the local mountain where our sources tell us is the base of the evil that we want you three to get rid of. I know that Beast here has a power as strong as yours Southern, but not strong enough. If you do not find him he will die. You must meet up with him, and fight the evil together. That is the only way it can be, as the prophecies told us.

Southern: Prophecies? What are you talking about?

Emelia Sq: This is what the five have prophecized. You may not know it, but they are far older than you. They just concealed their secrets in their disguises that they wore in Earth. I have a feeling that you will meet up with them later.
And to tell you now, you two must go now. Take my horse and ride it to the mountain and find Beast. There you can defeat the enemy. But I must warn you: It will not be an easy path. There are dangers that lie in the road ahead. Now, you two, go, find your friend, and your true powers, and with that you can defeat the evil. You see our townspeople? They were not always like that until the evil came. Only few escaped. Now hurry, hurry before it is too late.

And with that Emelia Sq lead Southern and Kitty out of her castle, to her horse and waved them goodbye. A cold breeze passed by her as she looked out as the two rode away. She said in a whisper.

Emelia Sq: May your love bring good back into these worlds...

Southern and Kitty rode for an hour, crossing the beautiful plains, and the lightly shaded forest. Kitty, thinking of what Emelia Sq told them, played around with her amethyst necklace, twirling it around her fingers. It slipped soon after and fell to the floor. Kitty gasped, and without speaking a word to Southern who was riding along in the path, not paying attention to Kitty at the moment, jumped off of the horse and walked to her necklace.

Kitty was about to pick it up when she heard a noise. She got scared and looked around to see who it is.

Kitty: Must have been the wind.

Kitty touched her necklace and as soon as she did that she was attacked by a person who was hiding in the bushes. He tackled her and pinned her to the ground, about ten feet away from the necklace.

Kitty tried reaching for it but it was no use, this person, whoever it was, had a strong grip on her arms and legs, making it very hard for her to move.

Meanwhile Southern looked to her side and said...

Southern: We should be there shortly Kitty, I see the pat--Kitty?

Southern stopped the horse and turned it around. She looked and saw Kitty pinned to the ground by a man. Southern kicked her heels into the horse and they rode off towards the two.

Kitty tried moving, but could not. The man lightly chuckled as he looked at her with his dark blue eyes. His short brown hair blew a little bit to the east as he lied down on top of her as if she was a bed. He lifted up his elbows and laid them down on Kitty's shoulders, sending her a nice sharp pain up her arms. He put his hands to his face and looked down at Kitty. He then said...

Corey C: So you are one of the three chosen people? Some fight you put up. Sorry, but it's the boss' orders to kill any of the three that I happened to get. You are a pretty one though...

Corey C stroked the side of Kitty's face as she flinched to the side, closing her eyes. Corey C laughed and said...

Corey C: Ah, no matter. Shame you have to die, oh well, all's well that ends well, that is, for us.

Corey C got off of Kitty and took out a dagger. He raised it, aiming it at Kitty's heart, but looked behind him. Southern just pulled the horse near them and started walking towards the two. Corey C gave an evil smile as he turned towards Southern and said...

Corey C: Well well well, I wanted a challenge and here it is. Your the one who's already figured out your powers is that right? Then I need not to use this...

Corey C threw his dagger at the ground. He rubbed his hands together and took off the dark blue cloak that he was wearing over his dark blue baggy shirt and pants. He looked at Southern and said...

Corey C: Well you two are an attractive bunch. Maybe I'll go easy on you, just for fun. I'll bring you to the boss, harmed of course, and maybe with convincing he'll let me make you my two love slaves. It's either that or just die, what do you say ladies?

Southern: I say that your the one who's going to die!

Southern then charged at Corey C. Corey C just grinned as he dodged Southern's tackle, letting her fall to the floor near Kitty. Southern got up and turned back around, facing Corey C. He smoothed back his hair and rubbed his hands again and said...

Corey C: Ah this is going to be fun. Alright, is it my turn now? Then let's play.

Corey C gave an evil grin as he cupped his hands together to reveal a blue fireball coming front there. He threw one at Southern, burning her slightly in the leg as she tried to dodge it.

Corey C: Is that it? Maybe I should let you die, since you are such...bad...fighters!

As he said that he threw even more blue fireballs at Southern. She dodged most of them but then one got her right in the left leg. She cried in pain as she fell to the floor, quickly tending to her burnt wound.

Corey C walked up near Southern and said...

Corey C: Alright then m'lady, goodbye!

Corey C conjured up another fireball in his hands. As he was about to throw it at Southern's head he was pulled by the back of his shirt and thrown to the bushes nearby him. Upset, he got out of there and looked at who pushed him. It was Kitty.

She had on her amethyst necklace and conjured up her own fireball, the color lavendar, that she was holding in her hand. She stood up in front of Southern and said...

Kitty: You shall leave us alone now!

Kitty then threw the lavendar fireball at Corey C, severely burning him. Falling to the floor in pain, he looked up at Southern and Kitty with squinted eyes. He smiled, and started laughing. Southern and Kitty looked at each other and then he said...

Corey C: You fools! You will be no match for the boss, wait, you'll see. When you reach the mountain. That is, I would not say the same for your friend. Goodbye mortals.

Corey C then got up and whistled. His horse came galloping by as he jumped on quickly and rode off towards the mountains.

Kitty fell to the floor, tired because of the power she just summoned. Southern lifted Kitty up, both of them supporting each other. They got up on the horse, one at a time. When they were both on Southern kicked her heels into the horse and rode off towards the rocky terrain of the mountains where they would soon find Beast and the evil that they would have to defeat.

Southern and Kitty made it, stopping the horse as they got ready to climb up the mountain. They have been keeping a close eye out for some time now for any enemies that might want to kill them, and of course, their missing friend Beast.

Kitty started crying softly as they started climbing up. Southern stopped them and looked at her. She said...

Southern: What's wrong sis? Something amatter?

Kitty: (sniff) Yes, what, what if we don't make it? What if they already got Beast and killed him and we fail and then we'll all die?

A couple of tears ran down Kitty's cheek at such thoughts flooded her mind. Southern comforted her, giving her a hug and rubbing her back. She pulled away from Kitty and looked at her. She then said...

Southern: Well we will not fail, I can feel it, can't you? Don't give up little sis, were going to make it.

Southern lifted up Kitty's chin as she smiled gently at her. Kitty sniffed and rubbed her tears as she stood upright and said...

Kitty: Your right, I shouldn't act like such a baby. The evil one will want to see me with this weakness but I won't.

Southern: That's the spirit sis. Now let's go, we must not waste anymore time.

Southern and Kitty continued walking up the mountain. The sun setted ten minutes later behind the huge mountain as the first stars of the night brightly shined over the clear dark blue sky.

Minutes passed by, then two hours went by. They were barely half-way up the hill. Southern and Kitty sat down and dug through their pockets to find any scrap of food. Kitty's stomach growled as she found nothing. Same as Southern. Kitty looked at Southern and said...

Kitty: Southern, I'm hungry and scared. What are we going to do?

Southern: Don't pout sis. We'll get some food pretty soon, I'm sure of that.

Kitty: Yeah, and you were sure that we were going to reach the top in an hour.

Southern: Look sis, I'm sorry but I didn't know how tall this mountain is.

Kitty: Maybe you should've taken a better look at it.

Southern sighed as she got up and walked down the mountain. Kitty shouted out at her a second later...

Kitty: Southern! Where do you think your going?!

Southern: I'm looking for some food Kitty, and shush up, what if the enemy hears...

Southern then was pushed down to the floor by a strong breeze. She looked up and saw a big and beautiful dragon. The dragon flapped it wings near the ground as it landed, it's light orange scales shined from the moonlight. As the dragon rested it's head down a person walked down.

Southern and Kitty got up and walked alongside each other cautiously towards the dragon. Meanwhile the person walked towards them. This person was dressed in a beautiful white gown that went to her bare feet. Her long curly platinum blonde locks flowed with the wind as she stopped in front of Southern and Kitty. She extended her hand and said...

Sasama: Hello, my name is Sasama.

Southern and Kitty looked down at her hand and slowly Southern lightly shook her hand. Southern let go but Sasama did not release her grip. She smiled at her as they both caught first glimpse of her eyes, a pale light blue. Southern and Kitty gasped in shock as she grabbed onto Kitty's neck as well as kept her firm hold on Southern's hand.

She turned them around and walked them to the front of her dragon. She looked at the two and she said...

Sasama: Your coming with me. If any of you try to cast any spells on me or the dragon it shall be reversed back only to the person who cast it, understand?

Southern and Kitty shook their heads.

Sasama: Good, now dragon, fly us to the top!

The dragon raised it's head as soon as the three got on it's back. The dragon roared as it flapped it's wings against the ground, very shortly going airborne. They then all headed to the top of the mountain where the evil and hopefully their friend is...

The dragon flapped it's wings against the ground as it landed near the top of the mountain. Sasama, Southern and Kitty got off of the dragon as it rested it's beautiful orange head down.

Sasama let go of Southern's hand and Kitty's neck. Kitty gasped for air and coughed as she fell to the ground holding lightly onto her neck. Southern moved her wrist around and walked next to Kitty, patting her on the back.

Sasama then started laughing. It wasn't a normal laugh, but a pure evil laugh that you only hear in the movies or television shows. Sasama looked down at the two girls with her pale blue eyes and said...

Sasama: You two are so weak. Not even breaking away from my grip and use one of your spells. Hah. I think I'll spare the disappointment of you two from your friend and her by killing you off right here.

Sasama walked back towards the dragon. She walked up on the dragon's back as the dragon lifted up it's orange head that shined in the full moonlight. Sasama the snapped her fingers and the dragon started lifting itself up, beating it's wings against the ground.

Southern and Kitty looked up at the dragon as it flew up high and hovered over them. The dragon then dived down and tried to get the two girls as it dove near the ground but did not succeed. The dragon then flew back up high in the air above the girls and lifted up it's head. It opened it's mouth really wide, as if it was yawning, and then it lowered it's head down as it shot fire towards Southern and Kitty.

Southern and Kitty both joined each other hand in hand and lifted their other arms up in front of them and created a shield from the fire. The spell worked as soon as the fire passed they were both standing in their same spots unharmed by the flames.

Sasama looked at the two girls from her dragon and said...

Sasama: That won't protect you for long. You have no other magic to stop a dragon, especially mine, one of the most powerful ones of them all!

Southern: We'll see about that!

Kitty looked at Southern as her eyes widen.

Southern kept her sight on the dragon as it came down another time and tried to claw them with it's feet, narrowly missing Kitty who almost got scratched split down the middle.

Southern looked up at Sasama and her orange dragon and said...

Southern: Is this all your "powerful" dragon can do? C'mon, do your worse, I dare you!

Kitty looked at Southern in shock. She pulled on the side of Southern's shirt and whispered to her...

Kitty: (whisper) Southern, don't do that! It'll kill us both in a flash!

Southern: Don't worry Kitty, I have a plan.

Southern pushed Kitty aside as the dragon started flying down slowly towards her. The dragon stood on it's hind legs on the ground and opened it's mouth. It pointed up to the full moon and absorbed some strange energy from it. The dragon then lowered it's head down and aimed a bright pale white light at Southern.

Souther shielded herself, one hand tightening her grip on the ruby necklace, the other one in front of her, stretched out creating a light red shield around her. The bright pale light continued going past her for a few seconds then her power weakened as the shield started to shrink away. Southern, using all of the strenght she had, gave up and took the full blow from the beam of light, falling to the floor unconcious immediately.

Sasama laughed as her dragon closed it's mouth and lifted it's head up. Sasama looked down at Southern then at Kitty. She then said...

Sasama: Don't worry, we'll let you join you sister in dreamland soon. We did the same thing to Beast and now look where he is, hahaha!

A tear ran down Kitty's face as she looked up at Sasama and the dragon. She held her amethyst necklace in her left hand as a huge lavendar flame engulfed her whole right arm. She looked at Sasama and the dragon and threw the flames at them both.

The dragon gave an ear-piercing roar as Sasama fell down from the dragon. The dragon's right wing became covered in the lavendar flames as Sasama climbed back up on the dragon.

The dragon flapped it's wings against the ground as it took off in flight. Sasama shook her fist at Kitty as they flew away to the top of the mountain and out of sight.

Kitty fell to the ground on her knees, breathing deeply as she looked over at Southern who started to slowly regain conciousness. Kitty got up and walked over to her. She sat down and said...

Kitty: Maybe we should work together next time.

Southern gave a weak smile as she sat up next to Kitty. She looked around and said...

Southern: So they've gotten Beast then?

Kitty: Sounds like it.

Southern: Then this is a rescue mission. C'mon, let's go.

Southern got up, balancing her weight as she shook a little bit. Kitty got up and let Southern lean some of her weight on her. Kitty looked at her sister and said...

Kitty: You know, you weren't so brave before we came here.

Southern: I know that, but I never knew how much of a scaredy-cat you were until we got here.

Kitty: Enough bickering, let's get up there and save the day.

Southern: Your right, hehe.

Kitty and Southern then once again proceeded to walk up the mountain, a mile or so from the top, from their friend, and from the enemy.

About fifteen minutes later the sun started to rise slowly from the east. The stars started to slowly fade away as the sky turned lighter shades of blue. Kitty walked with Southern up to the top of the mountain, letting her lean into Kitty as they went up.

Finally they reached the top. The first rays of the sun started to shine and stretch over the horizon of this mystical world as Southern and Kitty stood on top of the mountain, keeping an eye out for anyone as a breeze gently blew past them.

Southern looked at Kitty and said with a soft tone of voice...

Southern: Kitty...there's no one here.

Kitty looked at Southern and shook her head. She walked past her, looking at the floor, examining it. She kneeled down at a flat piece of dirt and patted it, letting her fingers run through it. She got up and dusted her hands off and looked back at Southern. She then sighed and said...

Kitty: Here's the base. It's hidden right underneath this patch of dirt.

Kitty and Southern walked over to a small square patch of dirt and looked at each other. Southern raised an eyebrow as she looked from the dirt patch to Kitty. Kitty weakly smiled at Southern and kneeled down, putting her hand underneath the center of the square dirt patch, pulling out a chain. She pulled the chain with her strenght and then the earth on the top of the mountain shook.

Southern and Kitty gasped and ran towards each other as the earth shook, making them both fall to their knees. Then an opening started to form from the center, a hole, opening wider and wider. Southern and Kitty walked towards the edge of the mountain top as the hole consumed most of the top.

Then the rumbling stopped. Southern and Kitty both looked down at the black hole, afraid of what they would find or not find.

Southern looked at Kitty and nodded, taking off her ruby necklace and wrapping it around her right wrist. With a deep breath she jumped down into the darkness. Kitty kneeled down at the edge of the hole and said...

Kitty: Southern, wait for me!

Kitty then took off her amethyst necklace in a hurry, but then the necklace slipped off of her fingers. As it fell down the black hole Kitty gasped, and being determined not to let it fall into the wrong hands, jumped down into the hole along with Southern.

As Kitty went through the opening immediately the opening closed. Kitty landed a second later on the hard dirt floor. She squinted her eyes, looking up as the opening finally closed, the last bit of sunlight being in a sense locked away.

Scared, Kitty looked around, opening her eyes wide, trying to see (or hear) if anyone is in there, especially Southern. Then Kitty realized something: her necklace.

Suddenly in a panic Kitty quickly knelt onto the floor, feeling through the dirt for her amethyst necklace. Frustrated and scared she said...

Kitty: If only I had some sort of light...

As soon as Kitty said the word she felt a strange tingly feeling in her right hand. Lifting it up in the air suddenly a purple light shot out from her hand, hitting ever candle in the room with an ominous glow. As Kitty regained her sight inside there she looked out in front of her and gasped.

There she found Southern, her mouth covered by Corey C who is at the same time pointing a strange curved dagger in front of her neck, shining softly by the candlelight. Next to him is Sasama, dressed in a beautiful white gown that reached down to the floor at her bare feet, sparking in the candlelight.

Then Kitty saw a few other people that caught her by suprise to be there. There were the five (Rogue, Frizzo, JBond, smokiechimp and Zilla Man) all hidden underneath their dark blue cloaks. Then there was Emelia Sq, right in front of the five, looking at Kitty with a blank face. Then there was someone else she did not know, walking up to her. He was wearing a black cloak and his face was hidden, but she knew it was a guy by his posture and his manly smell. He grabbed Kitty tightly by the arm and pulled her up, breaking her arm in the process.

Squinting her eyes, watering up because of the pain, Kitty limped down a little bit as she tried to stand up. The man in the black cloak pushed her in front of Corey C and said in a deep voice...

Man: Fool, how dare you go and try to rescue the human.

The man in the cloak then in a swift motion grabbed Kitty's neck and lifted her up in the air slightly, choking her.

Southern, with tears coming out of her eyes, shouted at the man in the cloak and said...

Southern: Stop! Your killing her! Leave her alone, it's me you want!

The man in the cloak held onto Kitty's neck a little longer, tightening the grip a bit more as Kitty gagged, tears coming out from her eyes. Then the man in the black cloak let go, Kitty collapsing on the floor heaving for breath right after.

The man in the black cloak walked up to Southern and said...

Man: You don't know how long I've been waiting to kill you...and here you are. Well finally I can accomplish my goal.

After that said, the man in the black cloak lifted up his hood to reveal...

Southern: Beast?! Wha--this doesn't make any sense!

Beast looked at Southern, his eyes a pale blue, his face drained of color. He took a deep breath and said...

Beast: You don't really think that I'm the person who's been trying to kill everyone in this puny place and plotting against the second world now have you? I'm just using this body so that way you will have no chance of defeating me. He sure did have a strong spirit, not as strong as yours though. That was his flaw. He let go of his necklace the second he ran into Sasama. Well he didn't really let go, we had to help him.

Beast then lifted up his neck to reveal burns around his neck, little imprints of a necklace that was on there. Southern gasped as Corey C was given an order from one of the five to let her go. She walked up in front of Beast and said...

Southern: Let...him...go...

Beast: No, I cannot. For you see I already explained to you the terrible consequences of doing that and we wouldn't want that to happen now would we my dear?

Southern: Let him go...now...

Beast: Ah I see how it is then. Emelia Sq, show her what happens when she tries to act like a little brave girl in front of me.

Southern turned around to look at Emelia Sq. Emelia lifted up her hand high in the air and looked at Southern, a tear running down her cheek that sparkled in the candle light. In a whisper she said...

Emelia Sq: I'm sorry...

And with that said Emelia Sq sent a huge blast of energy at Southern, lifting her off of her feet flying to the other end of the room hitting the hard cold rocks on her back. Bleeding and crying, Southern tried getting up but stayed down on the floor.

Beast gave a cold deep laugh and walked towards Southern. He said...

Beast: You see, no one can touch me. I am all powerful. I am soon going to be so powerful that even you weak humans on your planet will bow down to me when they see me, or they shall suffer just like you.

Southern coughed up a tiny trickle of blood and started laughing, the laughter echoing across the room. Everyone else amazed and scared by Southern's new change of mood, they looked at her as she said...

Southern: So you've sent innocent people and henchpersons to be your little bodyguards. Well if you can do what you did to my sister bring it on with me. You don't think the power actually came from the necklace did you? I figured it out actually, we don't really need the necklace, the power comes from within us, from our hearts, determined to save our second world as you call it and this one.

Southern got up, and while leaning more on her left leg she got into a fighting stance. With a weak smile she then said...

Southern: Show me what you've got, Beast.

Beast, suprised slightly and pleased that Southern was willing to put up a fight, stood in his same place, stretching his arms.

Southern, becoming terribly impatient with Beast and his delay by getting himself ready, shouted...

Southern: That's it were going to fight now!

Southern then sprinted towards Beast. Beast crossed his arms, an evil grin spread across his face as he stood there, about to be tackled down by Southern.

Southern was inches away from getting Beast when suddenly a shield blocked the two. Southern was thrown a couple of feet back into the cold dirt floor.

Beast looked down at her as the quickly black visible shield went away from around him. He stood there, inches away from her as she tried to get up and he suddenly shook his head. He blinked very fast, looking around him, placing one of his hands on the side of his head. He then looked down at Southern and said...

Beast: Southern...where am I? Where are we? Why am I dressed up like this?

Beast leaned down slightly and extended his hand in front of Southern, signaling that he wants to help her up.

Southern, relieved that it was actually Beast that she was talking to and not an evil spirit, she grabbed his hand. As soon as she did that she screamed in pain. Her face and everywhere sprung tons of new open cuts, bleeding freely as she immediately let go of Beast's hand. She winched in pain as she grabbed onto herself, closing her eyes, a tear of blood coming down on her face from her eye.

Kitty, seeing this, screamed in shock. She sprinted towards Southern's side and lifted her upper body up slightly. She looked at Southern and looked up at Beast, who just looked at the two with a happy expression on his face.

Kitty stood up and said...

Kitty: Kill me.

Beast looked up at Kitty, his facial expression not changing at the least. He then said...

Beast: I kill you, and she'll live, is that what your trying to say to me? A deal you want? Her life saved in exchange for your life taken away? Foolish, but alright.

Beast then walked up towards Kitty, tears streaming down her eyes as she took one last look at Southern who whispered under her breath...

Southern: No...

Beast then extended his hand in front of Kitty's chest as light started to show from his hand. He then dug his hand right into Kitty and very soon pulled it out.

Kitty with wide eyes looked at Beast and Southern. Barely standing she said with her last ounce of breath as she bled...

Kitty: Succeed where we both almost failed.

Kitty then collapsed on the floor, taking her last breath as she passed on.

Southern got up with all of her strenght and looked at Kitty. Tears streaming down her face she said...

Southern: No...no...not her...why...WHY?!

Southern then got up as ruby colored fireballs shot out from the palm of her hands and started to aim towards Beast. Beast dodged most of them but the last one got him in the stomach.

Falling to the floor Beast hugged his stomach and quickly got up as Southern sent a huge blast of energy towards Beast's previous spot.

Beast got on his feet and sent off an energy beam straight at Southern.

Southern absorbed the energy and glowed her color ruby red. Pissed as hell, Southern walked up in front of Beast, a fireball in her right hand. She got Beast by the neck with her right hand and lifted him up slightly in the air. She then said...

Southern: Let go of Beast.

Beast: No...

Southern: Let him go NOW!

Southern's fireball then burned Beast's neck, reaching up near his face and spreading down his chest. He screamed in pain as he suddenly felt lighter. Beast then became quiet, his eyes rolling in the back of his head as he went limp.

Southern let go of Beast's neck and turned back to normal, lying Beast down on the floor. Beast then regained conciousness. Beast grabbed onto Southern and gave her a tight hug. He looked at her and said...

Beast: The spirit is still alive. I know who it dwells in most of the times. Wh--where is Kitty?

Southern looked at Beast with sad eyes and said...

Southern: Beast, she...

Southern then hugged Beast, crying. Beast looked to his side and saw Kitty's body, covered in her blood. He pushed Southern away from him and looked at her. He said...

Beast: Southern, the spirit is in JBond of the five.

JBond then walked behind them and shot a powerful blue beam, paralyzing them both.

Southern and Beast both flew back against the dirt wall of the mountain hideout. They both lied on the floor, unable to move as JBond of the five walked up in front of them, his blue hood still covering his face.

JBond: Now then, wasn't that fun?

Southern, unable to conjure up any of her powers, looked at JBond with a mean expression on her face. She tried to move but she could not. Struggling she tried to do anything: move a finger, shrug her shoulders, shake her hips, anything. Beast did the same thing as her, but gave up terribly soon.

Southern, still not giving up, tried to move or something and then she heard it. A scream. Not from anyone else but it came from her. She still had the power of speech avalible to her. She looked at JBond and said in a strangely calm voice...

Southern: I do not understand why you did that so explain now.

JBond stood there in silence. A light breeze suddenly went by, the candles flickering as a warning sign as JBond kneeled down next to Southern and Beast. His hood was slightly covering his face, his cold dark blue eyes still visible. He looked at Southern and then dug his hand into a side pocket. There he took out a dagger, shining in the candlelight, the handle sparkling with a mix of sterling silver and 14 k gold. He put the dagger underneath Southern's neck and said...

JBond: You know what this is? It's a posionous dagger. Whoever even touches the tip of it becomes infected with the posion and dies immediately. But there's a trick to it. This one was made only for the three, not for no one else. So when the blood trickles down your neck as you lie here dying I want you to remember that your second world and this will be in very fine hands. I should get rid of you first. Your a bit of a pest really, acting all heroic and for what? To die in another world. Pity though. I'm giving you both one chance. Join us and your lives will be spared. Do not, and you'll slightly meet the same fate as your comrade lying over there.

Southern and Beast looked at each other in the corner of their eyes. Southern looked down slightly at the dagger that JBond was holding.

Oh if I could only find a way to get myself free from this paralization, Southern thought to herself. But wait, their powers are like my own, so I can break free with pulling all of the strenght I have.

Southern then concentrated on all of the power that she had stored within her for a many of years. She started to glow her color ruby red as she broke free from the spell.

JBond, shocked at this, struck the dagger at her. It touched her, but because of her strong power intake, she absorbed the posion, none of it affecting her at the least.

She leaned over and touched Beast who suddenly had a bluish glow to him. They both stood up as JBond got up and walked backwards towards the rest of the five. He pointed at the two with his dagger and said...

JBond: But how did you mortals do that?

Southern: It's pretty easy actually, you have to have heart for one thing, which none of you have. And to think you were our friends only luring us into here. Really terrible. Now JBond, unless you want to be killed, I want you to bring Kitty back to life. I've seen it happen before in shows and all in our world now you do it.

JBond, dry of the mouth, looked at Southern and Beast and said to the two...

JBond: She cannot come back to life. She is dead and no one can bring her back. Oh well little girl, c'est la vie for you.

Southern, angered by JBond's comment ran up to him, took the dagger out of his hand and stabbed him with it in the chest. He stumbled back onto the floor, bleeding as he lied his head down and gasped for breath and very soon died.

Beast looked at the rest of the five and said...

Beast: This is for the pain that you caused everyone.

Beast then raised his hand in front of him as a blue light passed the rest of the five, killing them all. Their lifeless bodies dropped on the floor as Southern got up, taking the dagger out of the lifeless JBond. She walked over to Beast, slipping the dagger in her back pants pocket and she said...

Southern: Something doesn't feel right...

Southern looked over at Corey C, Emelia Sq and Sasama. Sasama suddenly fell down on the floor, looking like she was in pain. She was suddenly covered in this purple fog as a monster about as tall as the room came out. The monster gave out an ear-splitting shriek. Southern and Beast covered their ears. So this was the monster that Southern encountered in her dreams. The candlelights flicked into a ominious red light as the monster stepped in front of Southern, grabbing her with it's right hand.

Southern wiggled around, trying to break free of the monster's grasp. But it was no use. The monster dug it's claws deep into Southern's skin, a pain so terrible that Southern felt like she would rather die than go on like this. The monster gave another ear-splitting shriek in front of Southern's face. Beast tried to kill it off with his blue beam blast but the monster flicked him away to the other end of the room with it's tail.

The monster leaned in closer, its set of raw sharp teeth gleaming in front of Southern as she got closer to it. No, she thought to herself, I can't leave this way, I have to avenge Kitty's death, and I have to save these worlds.

Southern then glowed once again a ruby red. She put her two hands on the monster's teeth and concentrated all of her energy. A red light engulfed both her and the monster suddenly, covering the whole room.

Beast looked up as the purple fog and the red light cleared. The monster was no more. And as for Southern, she lied on the floor, panting for breath, using up so much of her energy to get rid of the monster.

Beast ran over next to her and lifted her up. He looked around to see that they have in a sense succeeded. Southern, squinting her eyes and looking at Emelia Sq and Corey C, said to them...

Southern: What about the rest of you, Emelia Sq, and Corey C? Will you...

Southern looked at the two as they walked towards each other. They got into a small circle and were hand in hand as a ray of light shined on the two. Then a voice came out from the light saying...

Voice: We shall soon take over the other worlds, but until then...

Then in a flash Emelia Sq, and Corey C disappeared. The opening from the top of the mountain opened up as a bright ray of sunlight shined on the dark inside of the mountain hideout.

Southern and Beast walked up to Kitty's lifeless body. Beast lifted her out as Southern spotted a stairway exit out of the mountain.

A week has passed. I miss hearing Kitty's odd comments that she brings up at dinnertime. I miss how things were back then with Beast, Frizzo, Rogue, Zilla Man and Smokie. But it's all changed now.

It never did make sense why Emelia Sq went with Corey C, maybe the evil spirit took over her also. But as far as I know, there hasn't been any strange activity happening in the other world.

Hello, I'm Southern. I'm in my late teens and I've experienced more than anyone would, ever. Beast, Kitty and I were one day sucked into an adventure that changed our lives forever. Beast and I saved the day, but with a terrible price. Now my sister lies six feet under. I wish to avenge her death by killing the evil that looms around the second world of theirs underneath ours. I sit here in my room as I look out at the sunset, wondering what tomorrow has in store for us all. But all I know is that I am prepared to take on any creature that cares to threaten our world and another world.
