June 13th--the worst weekend of the summer?

Looking at what's coming out that weekend, one movie looks worse than the last.

Harrison Ford and Josh Hartnett in a buddy cop movie? Two guys who obviously aren't Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels as teens? A musical starring those brats from American Idol? When the best of the bunch seems to be the Rugrats meet The Wild Thornberries, you know there's problems.

So which of these movies released on June 13th would you see if a gun were put to your head and you were forced to see one?

If a gun was put to my head and I was forced to see one of these, I would choose................what caliber gun? I mean, if it's a .22 I'd have a pretty good survival chance, and wouldn't have to see any of them.

Actually on June 13th I'll be heading down for the Superman festival in Metropolis, Illinoise...so I'll be busy anyway.


And I have no desire to see any of those movies. I'm a Harrison Ford fan, but since this movie looks like it will have an excessive amount of rapcrap....I will not be in attendance.

I'm surprised New Line (who release Dumb and Dumberer) didn't just release Freddy vs. Jason on that day...they would have *cleaned up*! :)

I think New Line was originally going to release Freddy Vs Jason June 13th and Dumb & Dumberer was going to have the Aug 15 release but they switched it around.... but that June 13th weekend indeed sucks!

I'm a big Harrison Ford fan, and when I first saw the trailer for Hollywood Homicide, I thought.."hmm..maybe," but then I saw that he was teamed with Josh Hartnett. Now, I've got nothing against him, but I just can't see Harrison in some sort of 'buddy cop" movie. It saddened me. :(

Dumb & Dumberer looks great, the guy playing Carrey's part (The best thing in "Not Another Teen Movie as the cocky blonde guy BTW) seems to have nailed him.This movie has potential to be funny, give it a chance.As for Ford and Hartnet, I can't give it a chance and I like all of you, love Harrison Ford but I can't take Hartnet for 2 seconds.As for The rugrats, I have a guilty passion for them so maybe I'd see them too.

It's funny you should mention that. I saw the ads for "Dumb and Dumberer" and they looked a lot like those for "Not Another Teen Movie". Probably done by the same company. The movie itself looks pretty stupid though...worse even than something like "Road Trip"...maybe that's a good thing. :)

Yeah..Justin and Kelly in a round of russian roulette...why didn't the producers of American Idol think of that for the finals? :)

Dumb & Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd - They filmed this at my school. Ok, so does that make me WANT to see it? The teaser was lame, the trailer made me want to pistol whip the guy who green-lit this, and my buddy who apparently had the script said it was "God-awful". Even the Farrelly Brothers aren't involved with this one.(Chances of me seeing this: Not ****ing likely)

Hollywood Homicide - Yes, Josh Hartnett destoyed any chance of him being a great actor with Pearl Harbor and nothing will make up for it. Black Hawk Down is the closest thing that will, so he's ok in my book. Harrison Ford is the man and it will be interesting to see how this plays out.(Chances of me seeing this: Likely)

From Justin To Kelly - Who in the name of Stan Lee decided this would be a good movie?! I'm already predicting this one will top Pearl Harbor for "Worst Ever". "American Idol" sucks, Justin looks like he needs to be beaten with a crowbar, and Kelly just flat out cannot sing. But in a world where a Crap and Furious sequel can be made, I shouldn't be surprised.(Chances of me seeing this: When my exgirlfriend comes back to me, so never.)

The Rugrats Go Wild - I like the mishap adventures of Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Dil, and the rest of the clan. This one, however, I have my doubts on. "The Wild Thornberries" isn't too good a show, and I don't know how this will play out in the theatres. Maybe Bruce Willis will make the film at least entertaining.(Chances of me seeing it: I'll hear the reviews on it first.)
