In the last three months the guy has had 3 number one movies!!!! The recruit, Daredevil, and Phone Booth. Isn't that some kind of record or something. Plus he still has more movies to come out this year..... What happens if they become number one at the Box Office also.

i don't know about personal hygiene but i will say the success is mild. the recruit was decent, daredevil was kind of dull and phone booth has been passed off as good but not great.
as for records achieved? i doubt it.

I never said anything about how good the movies were... just their success...

The Recruit opened #1 at the box office and has made 52 million.

DD was # 1 at the box office for two weeks in a row, with 100million
Phone Booth was #1 as well

That means Collin Ferrell has been number # 1 at the Box office for four weeks and with three different movies, within weeks from each other.

That has got to be a record.....

Which brings me to my new point.... why do guys like Vin Desil get 20 million a picture... yet Collin still only get 5 or 10.....

The guy is one of the hardest working actors in Hollywood.

Colin is in a great movie called Tigerland, imo anyways, and I think he is a whole lot better than Vin. Vin was good in only two movies, Saving Private Ryan and Pitch Black. Colin has yet to be in a movie I didn't like.

That was probably the best move he's made in a long time. ;)

From what I've seen of him, Ferrell is a lot better than a lot of actors out there. I liked Tigerland, Minority Report and Daredevil. I haven't seen the recruit or phone booth, so I can't judge them yet.

I thought that was pretty smart of him... now if only he can turn down doing movies and go back to being a bouncer... then that would be great!

Heh, yeah. I learned last night he was considered by Disney for "Equilibrium". Met Kurt Wimmer after a screening of the film and there was a Q&A session afterwards.

I to was thinking the same thing when I saw Phone Booth last week {Which was better then I thought it would be} I realized that this was his third movie in 3 months I didnt see the recruit but I realized from reading somewhere that they all opened at #1 and he has another movie coming out this summer called S.W.A.T with sam jackson and ll cool j so this would be his 4th movie this year good track record.

My first thought when I read the title of this thread was, he does seem like he needs a bath. But yeah he's had one hit movie after another & s.w.a.t. looks pretty cool.

Vin Diesel shouldn't even be an actor. The guy has zero talent. Put him in the category with Steven Segal and Chuck Norris, making the same movie over and over with a slightly new twist.

The fact that he had those movies released so back to back is because they could. There were dates for when they can be placed without being up against any big budget movies like Harry Potter or X-men. Phone booth was finish a loooong time ago but didnt release it because at the time there were a lot of sniper shooting around the country. So it was put on hold. The other two...well, in Daredevil, he didnt have that much to do. So he was probably only there for a couple of weeks. A lot of actors have opened up movies like this. Sometimes at the same time.. Look at DiCaprio. Gangs of NY and Catch me if you can were released almost at the same time. within the month. Al pacino done it too.

Don't forget, Farrell has been earmarked to star with Anthony Hopkins in next years Alexander too. I believe this guy is one to keep an eye on.
