I was reading the first post by Smokie and I thought it started again until I read the date, DAMN. I loved that show and I want it to be on again or even to get a release on DVD which is unlikely.

It moved from Fox to WB, and I hope they don't move again.

Sometime it is funny but sometime it is not. Brad and Eddie are funny.

This show was just extremely funny, and it was hilarious to watch Claudia and Sean and how they suck at being parents!! .. this show was very good, after all it did get 1 emmy win & 7 nominations.. the season finale was done very well but am just sad to see that no other network would pick it up.. so what did every1 else think about the show ?

The show airs every weekday afternoon on ABC Family. But now that the first season is out on dvd in its original broadcast versions I can watch this series whenever now. Season 2 comes out in May I think. I like how the stories start in the middle and retells the story using flashbacks. And then works its way forward to the finish.

Yeah, I totally love the use of flashbacks on the show. For example, the episode, “Jimmy Was Kung Fu Fighting,” in which Jimmy makes like a pint-sized Jet Li in his dreams made me laughed so hard and it just came together so creatively. I did not know that the show had 1 Emmy win and 7 nominations. That is awesome.

Its neat how the GFL use of the flashback as a comedy device has filtered over to other series. Seinfeld and Friends experimented with it a little but, unsuccessfully and Scrubs uses it very often and well. It is just one of those things that when used well is very very funny and when used poorly is horrible. Thankfully GFL had a great cast and great writing.

Haha I remember that. there are so many instances of hilarious stuff like that. i sometimes find myself laughing so hard when watching this show that i miss other jokes.. haha. But with DVD i can avoid this
