ok, after reading alot more reviews of this film, im thinking maybe i put it in the wrong category :) but still, why the hell cant they get a distributer!! im yet to read at least 1 bad thing about this whole movie!

this is what pete vonder haar has to say (lol hes one of my favourite reviewers, he does all the b grade horror stuff over at www.filmthreat.com )

" loved this film; from the opening “Ben-Hur” nod to the hieroglyph subtitles, it’s simultaneously hilarious and poignant, with great performances. However leaving the theater I couldn’t help but be a little discouraged, because unless some studio decides to take a chance on “BH-T” I’m never going to see it again. During the screening, Campbell mentioned that “Bubba Ho-Tep” was the weirdest script he’d ever read, but that was a GOOD THING because it’s *not* your cookie cutter Hollywood formula picture. So step up to the plate Paramount, or Universal, or Sony. If you can force another ****ing Charlie’s Angels or “Bad Boys” movie on us, you can blow one day of their catering budget to distribute something original. Yeah, I didn’t think so. "

so we get absoulute bs like dumb and dumber 2 in front of jason V freddy, and meanwhile this film cant even get a ballzy enough backer!! i dont know about you guys, but im starting to feel very pissed that they ignore my favourite genre ENTIRELY to throw recycled crap at us.

I've never sen a Bruce Campbell film for Bruce Campbell... Heck, the only one where I remember Campbell being in it was Spider-Man, but that was just because it was so highly publicized.

I saw the trailer for this, and it looks wicked awesome! Funny as heck, and I'll definetly see it! I mean, some of those lines in the trailer were better than most comedy movies that Hollywood has been spewing out lately (Dumb and Dumberer anyone?)... And visual jokes! The scene with 'Elvis' and 'JFK' going down the corridor, while dramatic music plays... 'Elvis' in a stroller, 'JFK' in a wheelchair! I just cracked up!

I'm totally gonna check this one out!
